No screen time before two and all that, I know. But I'll be taking a solo 5-hour flight with DD later this month. She will have just turned 1. I've flown with her plenty of times but not by myself since she's been walking. She absolutely hates sitting still. We haven't really let her watch much TV or play with my phone but she loves watching videos of herself, so I'm thinking an app or two might help us survive.
Ideas on good stuff to download in advance? I'm fine with paying for apps as long as they're only a couple of bucks.
I'm also planning on bringing LOTS of snacks and a few books and am resigned to letting her walk up and down the aisles if we have to. LOL.

DD loves Zoo Train, which basically lets you assemble a train full of animals and watch it drive by as many times as you want. It is a total snooze but she could do it for hours. It took a few minutes for her to "get" how to do it (you put your finger on a train car and drag it down) but she became a pro quickly.
She also loves episodes of Elmo and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

OMG this looks awesome. I just downloaded it for DS, who's 3.

I guess they will be using ABC mouse at daycare one-on-one (the only day there are 3 providers) on Fridays starting next month... any reviews? I have to say yes he can participate or no.
