Hey wondering if anyone here has retail business experience and can recommend any books for someone looking to start up a small shop. I've been successfully running my own farm for about 5 years, but am considering shifting focus and opening a small store selling locally-raised farm products. I'd like some suggestions for reading material as this would be a new type of business for me, and I want to do it well if I'm going to do it at all.

It's not a 'how to run a small business' book, but I really like Paco Underhill's Why We Buy. It provides really interesting discussion of consumer behavior that would be useful in making a huge number of decisions about your business and how to run it.
