Hello all! We are either just arrived or rounding the corner to the big 1st birthday! How is everyone doing?
How old is your LO? -How are you and your SO doing? -Is your LO walking yet? -How many teeth? -What new things has LO learned lately? -Any words? -how is sleep? -What is baby eating these days?
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? What is the best thing?
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet?
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? Her not sleeping, hands down. I'm tired What is the best thing? Her refusing to take her bottles has led me to cut back on pumping and I am really happy to be done with it. Other than the not sleeping at night, she is pretty awesome! I love seeing her learn new things and her adventurous spirit.
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? I wouldn't be against TTC, but I still haven't gotten AF back. We'll see how it goes!

My babies are 11 months - they'll be one on Feb. 27th. Oh - forgot the relationship question. Unfortunately this might be a Freudian slip... we need to focus on ourselves more. I feel a little lost in being a mom. They are not walking. Squishy stands independently and really wants to take a step but always falls. I imagine she'll be there soon. Squeaky loves cruising on furniture but doesn't have the balance to stand independently yet. I won't count her out since she went from not pulling up at all to loving to pull up in about 48 hours, but I think it may be a bit for walking. They have four teeth each. I feel like they've been making big strides in gross motor development in the past 6 weeks. Squish really wants to learn to take that step and keeps trying, and they're both constantly crawling and cruising on furniture. They've both shown some increased interest in baby signs so hopefully some progress on communication soon! No words. We're still struggling on sleep. Frustrating. Squeaky often sleeps through and would probably do it more consistently if her sister didn't wake her up. Squishy would love to nurse every 3 hours around the clock if I would let her. We've been working on smaller bottles of BM overnight to try to gently nigh wean. Most of the hardest things relate to the fact that they're twins. But also the sleep. In the beginning sleep deprivation was just something to get through because OMG we have babies! Now it's a sleep deprivation marathon and I'm just tired. Best thing is when they snuggle up against me, when they learn a new skill and repeat it a million times with huge grins on their faces, hearing "mamamama" and knowing it will be real language soon, and babbling/giggling at each other.
How old is your LO? 10 Months -How are you and your SO doing? Better? He's definitely a temperamental guy, but now that he can move on his own he's much more content. -Is your LO walking yet? Not even close -How many teeth? Eight teeth, and still constantly drooling and chewing. -What new things has LO learned lately? He's finally crawling better. He recently discovered the dog bowl, so that's been fun. -Any words? Not really. Just jabbering and screaming. -how is sleep? Sleeps great, usually 8-6:30-7. -What is baby eating these days? Not a great eater, will chew on almost anything but wont swallow it much. We give him a taste of nearly anything we're eating.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? He's not content just hanging out, he wants to be walking around-but can't walk. He gets mad easily and is definitely going to be a tantrumer. He has learned to throw himself backwards and scream bloody murder with the best of them. What is the best thing? He's a snuggler and watching him learn so much and try so hard is a lot of fun .
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet?
We are D.O.N.E. So no more babies for the Drewly family. PP period came back around 7 months.
-How are you and your SO doing? Well! In the last 2-3 months I feel like I've finally gotten in a decent groove with motherhood, work, running, etc. H has been traveling a lot this month which is hard on all of us but he is really enjoying being a daddy when he is home.
-Is your LO walking yet? Yes, first steps at 9.5 months. She's practically running now!
-How many teeth? 6
-What new things has LO learned lately? Lots! How to throw things in the toilet (OMG). How to fit the shapes in her shape sorter. How to climb stairs. How to flip through board books. Her favorite thing to do is bring me things and hand them to me. If I don't accept her offering immediately, she grabs my hand, puts in in my palm, and pushes my fingers closed around it.
-Any words? Not really. MAMAMA and DADADA but not always in context. MEOW. She is constantly "talking" but I can't make any sense of it yet.
-how is sleep? Still nurses once MOTN most nights which I am okay with. Down to one nap a day and sometimes refuses even that. So still challenging but way way better than when she was smaller.
-What is baby eating these days? CHEESE ALL THE CHEESE. Seriously, she could live on cheese. I fear that toddler pickiness is starting to kick in…she used to eat all sorts of meat and veggies but now just whines and points until she gets fruit or cheese.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? She is old enough to move around and know exactly what she wants but can't quite communicate it to us yet. So we do lots of whining and pointing…begging to be picked up then immediately squirming to get down…etc.
What is the best thing? Everything else! This is my favorite age so far. Watching her toddle around the playground, chasing after bigger kids with a huge grin on her face, exploring everything around her, is so fun. Making her laugh so hard by doing something silly like putting a blanket over my head is my favorite!
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? I just had my first PP period a couple of weeks ago. We are casually TTC. My cycles were wonky before so I'm not sure what to expect.
How old is your LO? He'll be on e next Wednesday. -How are you and your SO doing? We are great at coparenting, I feel like we need to get back to being a couple. Once DS is weaned, we plan to do monthly date nights. We are going on a cruise in July so hopefully that will help us reconnect better. -Is your LO walking yet? No, he's not crawling yet either. He has an appointment with early intervention on Friday. Sigh, it's hard. He is a great cruiser though and loves pushing his walker around. -How many teeth? Seven with at least two more on the way. -What new things has LO learned lately? How to barrel roll, which I realize most of your kids probably did it six months ago. He started babbling dada, but doesn't associate it with DH yet. He is so engaging and is really paying attention to emotions now. -Any words? Dada -how is sleep? Night sleep is fine, he still naps twice a day, but it gets messed up because our schedule changes every day so sometimes he naps at 11 and then again at 2. -What is baby eating these days? Everything, he loves food. We don't do baby food, he eats what we eats and you can't feed him something else or he will steal your food. We had Qdoba on Saturday and he refused his quesdilla and ate my burrito bowl instead.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? For me, it's comparing him to kids his age and seeing potential delays. What is the best thing? His smile and his laugh, he is so sweet.
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? Hahaha, no. We need a big age gap. I have had two light periods but I'm still nursing and on the mini pill. We are cutting back on nursing so I'm sure it will come back soon. I plan to be done nursing by the end of the month.

I can't see how old your LO is, but good luck on the EI appt on Friday! There is such a huge range of normal for baby development, so hopefully he is just following his own pattern! Try not to stress with the comparisons.
ETA I just realized that you clearly said his age and that I must be too tired to read properly!
Thanks @myblue, he's almost one, next Wednesday he'll be one. I'm trying to keep a positive attitude toward it, that even if there is a delay, I'm glad to catch it early and to get help. It's just hard. I appreciate the encouragement, it means a lot.
- We're doing pretty good. This past year has definitely been one of the hardest of our relationship. I'll just say that I'm thankful we had a pretty solid foundation before we added the stresses of DS to the mix
- Not walking yet, but we're pulling up and cruising like crazy.
- 4 teeth. He was a late bloomer in this department and didn't get his first teeth until 9 months old.
- Since Christmas we've learned to pull up, stand on our own assisted by people (while holding onto something), cruise, and sit back down from standing. At Christmas he was barely able to stand at the activity table that was given to him and now he's all over the place.
- No real words yet. Lots of babbling and possibly yelling mama when he's frustrated, but it comes out as gibberish
- Sleep is pretty good. He finally started STTN at 9 months when he popped his first teeth. The past week or two has been kind of hit or miss because of some ear infection problems
- He's still getting about 20-25 ounces of formula a day plus baby food. As it is now, if he had it his way, he would eat purees forever. We're still working on eating "real" food. So far he's not impressed.
Hardest: He's into everything and I know it's just beginning. Plus he's starting to get fussy now when he doesn't get his way and he's hard to please sometimes. Transitioning to table food has been hard on me with lots of stresses worrying if he's behind or not.
Best: He has such a personality now and is so much fun. He's also finally STTN woooo!! I'm not constantly afraid I'm going to break him. I don't have to worry about keeping his head supported or if he'll fall over once I put him down. I've learned most of his little quirks to know if something is wrong or if he's just being a crank.
I got my first PP period at 4 months (after going EFF at 4 weeks). We haven't really talked about TTC yet. I initially thought about spacing my kids about two years apart, but that would mean starting to TTC this summer and I just can't fathom it right now. It's been almost a year and I still feel like I just stopped being pregnant. Plus I'm not sure I'm ready to go through the newborn phase again just yet.
How old is your LO? She will be 1 on Feb. 14th -How are you and your SO doing? Pretty good. We don't have much time alone but we are happy and content and make it count when we are together. -Is your LO walking yet? Not yet but maybe close. -How many teeth? 8 + 2 on the way -What new things has LO learned lately? My mom has been teaching her their own type of sign language. She pats her tummy when full. Blows kisses to say good bye and when you praise her, she claps her hands. This is all in Chinese. She doesn't know English. It is adorable. -Any words? momma, dada, ma (grandma), kong (grandpa), mum (eat), yum. Although to be honest, she just mimics us. She is pretty good at it. -how is sleep? I don't want to jinx it. -What is baby eating these days? pretty much everything, loves bananas and strawberries
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? Nothing! I love this age. What is the best thing? Her laugh fills my heart with joy She has a really sweet demeanor.
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? Maybe this summer
-How are you and your SO doing? Good! We make a great parenting team, and I feel like we're finally getting into our groove. I've had to spend some extra time at home with the baby lately when she's been sick or daycare has been closed because of weather/power outages, and it's made me realize that once we buy a house, I would like to cut back to working part time so I can spend more time with DD and potential future children. I was a little nervous broaching the topic with DH, but he was totally on board, which makes me very happy and relieved.
-Is your LO walking yet? No. She's pulling up on all the furniture and just starting to cruise.
-How many teeth? 7. She got her two bottom teeth about 2 months ago, and all of a sudden, last week, I noticed 5 teeth starting to pop out all at once! Definitely explains the increased MOTN wakeups!
-What new things has LO learned lately? The pulling up and cruising are new. And it may totally be a fluke, but the other day she put my cell phone to her ear and said "heddo" (hello). Also, when you say "yay," she'll clap her hands.
-Any words? She says mama and papa. I'm not sure if she knows what papa means yet, but she has used mama in context.
-how is sleep? For the most part she's a pretty good sleeper, but we've had some hiccups with her being sick and teething.
-What is baby eating these days? She eats a pretty wide variety of food, but she's still not fond of food with a lot of texture. So we still have to puree a lot of her food and just leave it sort of chunky. What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? The fact that I really can't get anything done when she's awake. I can put her in her "pen" for short periods of time, but if she's out and about, we have to watch her every second, especially because she undoes a lot of our babyproofing efforts. She rips all the adhesive stuff off the furniture Also, she's starting to become impatient with being fed, but she's not very good at feeding herself. She starts clapping her hands in front of her face when she doesn't want to be fed anymore, so the food ends up all over her hands, then inevitably all over her face and hair lol What is the best thing? Making her laugh, and seeing her huge smile when I get home or pick her up from daycare. She is such a happy, fun little baby! Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? I'm still nursing, but my period came back after 4 months. Boo. I feel like we're just starting to get into our groove, so I'm definitely not ready to TTC yet. Maybe later this year.
How old is your LO? -M is 10 months, will be 11 on the 21st!
-How are you and your SO doing? -Better since we started talking about things.
-Is your LO walking yet? -She stands unassisted for a few minutes and walks along things no steps yet.
-How many teeth? 2.5! Bottom one mostly 1 top and the other bottom is starting now.
-What new things has LO learned lately? -She picked up the words No, No! I told her no no one night when she was mountain climbing her anywhere chair and the next day at school she told the teacher No No to feeding another baby and not her!
-Any words? -See above and some Momma, Dada
-how is sleep? -mostly TTN, sometimes a pacifier replacement is needed and she moves around a lot but still sleeps.
-What is baby eating these days? -Everything! We have not found a food she doesn't like. I've been trying to find weird foods but she likes to eat. I am hoping that continues after we wean from formula.
-What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? -I still hate leaving her everyday for work. We have talked about me being a SAHM but would do it if we decided on #2. I still do a lions share of the work since H works a lot.
-What is the best thing? -I love to see what new things she will do next. When her brain starts going and she's fixated on something it's pretty neat to wacth.
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? -H wants to start trying, I am on the fence.
Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? NA
How old is your LO? She will be 11 months on Friday.
-How are you and your SO doing? We parent really well together but the couple side has kind of fallen by the wayside. We just need to make more of a focused effort to not just zone out once c is finally down for the night.
-Is your LO walking yet? Not yet bit she is so close! She just needs to get a little confidence. She has taken a few unassisted steps, stands for long periods without holding onto anything, constantly cruises.
-How many teeth? Only 2. She's been pretty slow in this department!
-What new things has LO learned lately? She mimics our duck, monkey, and elephant noises which is adorable! She has also figured out climbing stairs.
-Any words? She babbles mama and dada but it's not really in context most of the time.
-how is sleep? For the last week she's been up to nurse 1x per night. Previously it was 2+ so I'm ok with it.
-What is baby eating these days? She's still nursing and I am pumping for her. She loves table food, though. Especially cheese, grapes, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? She's into everything and constantly causing some kind of mischief!
What is the best thing? She's just so much fun! It's so cool to see how quickly she learns. You can just see the wheels turning sometimes and it is so fun to see. I also love love love the open mouth kisses, particularly when they are out of the blue/unprovoked. Oh, and she is helmet free now!
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? I am still nursing but got my period back at 6 months . We are not TTC but maybe this summer if we can get the finances squared away.

How old is your LO? One on Wednesday
-How are you and your SO doing? Good!
-Is your LO walking yet? Nope! He crawls, pulls up on things and cruises along the sofa and coffee table
-How many teeth? 4. We can see the top side teeth under the gums but they aren't through yet
-What new things has LO learned lately? The knee crawling was new a couple of weeks ago- up until they he has army crawled and butt scooted for a couple of months.
-Any words? He says something that sounds like the cat's name consistently. Other than that everything is DADADADADAA. He does know welch of our names and looks at the correct person/animal when we say it, but he doesn't say it himself.
-how is sleep? Good! The last week he has been sleeping all night with NO FUSSING. For the last couple of months he would fuss a couple of times a night and put himself back to sleep. It would wake me up a lot though. It has gotten better since I put him in disposables overnight and started treating his diaper sores as a yeast rash, so I'm not sure if it's the disposables or positive treatment of the sore that has helped. Still naps 2x/day (except today)
-What is baby eating these days? Everything. He loves all fruits, especially bananas, cheese, any pasta, especially with sauce, home made pizza, peanut butter, squash, etc.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? Honestly? Not much. He has been such an easy baby. Maybe the hardest is keeping him from smacking the cat & dog? Lol. He somehow got the understanding that "gentle" means "pat" and his pat is a little vigorous.
What is the best thing? He's so funny. He entertains himself. He's smart and we can see him thinking about something and trying to work it out. He is flexible. He is a just a delight!
ETA- yeah still nursing (3-4x/day) & no period yet, but just got a positive pregnancy test yesterday, so who knows what is up.
How old is your LO? 10.5 months -How are you and your SO doing? Haha. Can that be my answer? -Is your LO walking yet? Nope. He's taken two steps and he reaction was priceless. It was WTF just happened?? -How many teeth? 8!!! 4 on top, 4 on the bottom. -What new things has LO learned lately? He bites and it hurts. He does bye bye but it's pretty much flapping his arm around. He is a master of scaling walls to get places. -Any words? He babbles- mama dada baba uhoh. He repeats I love you, which comes out as I lu ooo. The only thing that has true meaning is his puppy (IKEA stuffed animal) which he calls pupa -how is sleep? I can't complain. He's always been good. -What is baby eating these days? Cereal bars and veggies straws. He still has cereal for breakfast and pouches at lunch. He just recently started picking up food. He went like a month refusing.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? He's everywhere! What is the best thing? He's so animated!
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet?
The topic comes up. But then the topic of not being financially ready comes up.
-How are you and your SO doing? we've had a really good routine since ~6 months, but i go back to work in 10 days so that will surely eff everything up again.
-Is your LO walking yet? no. not really expecting it before his birthday either. he's really content crawling and cruising.
-How many teeth? 6, maybe 7? he has several that are ready to pop, but i can't get a good look in there.
-What new things has LO learned lately? he's just trying to mimic waving and clapping. certainly hasn't mastered them, but it's cute watching him try. he learned to open the kitchen cupboards and slam them shut. it's now a favourite activity.
-Any words? none. sometimes he babbles Mama and Dada correctly... but he also assigns them incorrectly too, so not counting it yet.
-how is sleep? oh gosh. he's been averaging 4 wake ups this past week. although last night was only 1, so maybe we've turned a corner again.
-What is baby eating these days? everything. he eats whatever we're eating. he's recent love is pb toast. h will sit on the couch in the morning with toast and R just begs at his knee. it's cute.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? the sleep problems. it's really getting to me because when it was hard as a newborn/6 months/9 months i kept telling myself it had to get better eventually and kind of set 12 months/me going back to work as that magical future day. we're staring down that milestone and it's definitely not happening. so now i'm kind of hoping for 18 months. it will be better then, right?
What is the best thing? watching him discover new things and learn new skills. and the fact that he's mine. i'm not terribly interested in other people's kids, but my kid is freaking awesome (to me).
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? hell no, thank the lord no, and sadly yes.

How old is your LO? She will be 10 months on the 13th. -How are you and your SO doing? We are doing ok. DD just finished the antibiotic from HELL for her second ear infection in a month. It gave her loose poops, diaper rash and I'm convinced it made her wake up multiple times a night for a week. So we were just sleep deprived and frustrated this past week. DH just had an emergency appendectomy Monday morning so he won't be able to lift DD for two weeks. He was working 13 hours/day 7 days a week for the entire month of January. So far 2015 has been rough for me. I feel like I'm not able to focus at work and like I'm just getting by at home because I'm tired and overwhelmed. Phew. I need a break.
-Is your LO walking yet? She uses her walker toy and pushes it all over the house pretty well. She cruises along while holding furniture too. She is crawling everywhere. Mostly towards things she shouldn't go near!
-How many teeth? 6 teeth! 4 on top and 2 on the bottom! I don't see any others poking through right now.
-What new things has LO learned lately? She is pointing to EVERYTHING all the time and making a sound that sounds like "dis?" Like she wants to know what the object is. She still loves our cat and grabs at her ears all the time. The cat doesn't mind. She finally started holding her own bottle more. She will wave bye to certain people and not all the time. It is adorable when she does. She pulls herself up on everything. She got brave and crawled all the way up the stairs (with my hand on her back) the other day but doesn't go towards them often.
-Any words? Just babbles but they are precious!
-how is sleep? See above. Generally good. She still wakes up early (4:45 on a good night) but I'll take it after this 2:30-3:30 business. I used to think 5:15 was early. Not anymore.
-What is baby eating these days? Food scares me. we are picky eaters and I feel like I have NO IDEA what to feed her. She doesn't get purees anymore so we just do table food. Blueberries and wheat bread for breakfast. Chicken, ground turkey, carrots, sweet potatoes. I could use a lot of help figuring out what to feed her.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? She has been really clingy but maybe because she was sick. Crawling is also really hard since she doesn't sit still long. I think she also needs to be entertained more and sometimes I feel like our house and her toys are boring her.
What is the best thing? She still loves to cuddle. She smiles so much and laughs a lot. She is ticklish on her ribs. I love sitting together and eating breakfast and dinner. She is so proud when she is walking around with her toy. She is still chubby all over. We play music before she goes in the bath and she stands on the counter and bounces up and down and smiles at herself in the mirror. It is the cutest.
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? We are 99.9% sure we are one and done.
Thanks @myblue, he's almost one, next Wednesday he'll be one. I'm trying to keep a positive attitude toward it, that even if there is a delay, I'm glad to catch it early and to get help. It's just hard. I appreciate the encouragement, it means a lot.
i have no idea where R falls in the realm of just slower at developing vs. needs early intervention, but he's definitely behind all of his irl baby friends his age and i see a lot of kids on here that are younger than him, but more advanced. it's so hard not to compare and not to worry, yet if he is behind enough to require intervention i definitely want to be proactive. the earlier they get help the easier it is to catch up.
my biggest source of worry with R are motor skills involving his hands/arms. we get an ages and stages book from public health that have lists of skills at various ages and he's not scoring well at all in the 10-12 month range. i set up play to work on those skills as much as i can and hoping for the best at his check up in a month.
How old is your LO? He'll be 11 months next week -How are you and your SO doing? We've gotten use to our situation but it doesn't mean we like it! -Is your LO walking yet? He took 1 step last week! -How many teeth? 1 fully out and 3 more on the way. -What new things has LO learned lately? taking steps is the big thing. -Any words? He makes sounds but they don't mean anything yet. -how is sleep? Horrible! After a failed attempt at sleep training we're still Co sleeping. And he still nurses 3-4 times a night. -What is baby eating these days? Anything and everything! But we hit a snag with that when we got his allergy test results back. It found allergies to cow's milk, soy, egg, wheat, peanuts, seeds, and shellfish. We're meeting with an allergist to discuss his and my diet further.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? It's a toss up between the sleeping and allergies. What is the best thing? Cuddling. Watching him play with his brother - it melts my heart!
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? I'm done! D-O-N-E!

How old is your LO? 9.5 months -How are you and your SO doing? We are great. -Is your LO walking yet? Not even crawling. Just army crawls. I guess I should be concerned. -How many teeth? 2 -What new things has LO learned lately? Waving bye, does his milk sign consistently -Any words? baba, dada, mama -- with no meaning -how is sleep? What sleep? What is sleep? -What is baby eating these days? Everything except peanut butter, nuts, shellfish
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? Not enough time in the day with him with my work schedule and his early bed time.
What is the best thing? All of it
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet?
Hello all! We are either just arrived or rounding the corner to the big 1st birthday! How is everyone doing?
How old is your LO? A will be 11 months on the 10th -How are you and your SO doing? We have good days and ok days. We have been thru a major move, house renovation in addition to the baby and it hasn't been easy. I'm having a hard time finding my place in our new town and stayed at my parents during the renovations which was hard on us. I came back almost 2 weeks ago and my mom stayed to help which gave us some time for an awesome date night. We really needed it. Now I need to find a local babysitter so we can do it more. -Is your LO walking yet? Not even close and I'm getting worried. She isn't crawling either. Just scooting on her butt a lot and army crawling. She really will not put any weight on her legs though and that concerns me. I talked to the pedi at 9 months and we had a hip xray because she had some extra butt fat, but that all came back normal. -How many teeth? Currently she has 4, but I can see 2 more coming in on the bottom -What new things has LO learned lately? Not in the last week or so that I have noticed. She does understand what no means and if we tell her know she throws a fit so that is new. -Any words? just babbles, a lot of mama, dada, etc. Athough when she is tired she says nite nite and im convinced she knows what it means. -how is sleep? She is a light sleeper, but she sleeps all night and 2 naps during the day. We are wanting to removed the paci soon though so I imagine that is going to stop. -What is baby eating these days? she eats a little of what we eat. Eggs, chicken, pork, rice, fruit, veggies, cheese
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? she gets very frustrated and knows what she wants but can't tell us. What is the best thing? Watching her explore the world and learn new things. She is so funny.
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? No not til summer at least. I was not a fan of being pregnant. Also our current house is too small for another kid and I don't really want to move again.
- How old is your LO? 10 months -How are you and your SO doing? Doing okay...H has had some health issues, and all of us have been sick, so it's been a little stressful. Oh, and we're moving (again!) in a few months -Is your LO walking yet? Not even close :-) -How many teeth? 2 coming up in the bottom -What new things has LO learned lately? He's standing against furniture (which is HUGE deal for him because for a very long time he wasn't even putting weight on his legs, and he's been in PT for gross motor delays) -Any words? None that have real meaning to him, but lots of fun sounds and babbles. -how is sleep? Still one wake-up each night, but I'm cool with that -What is baby eating these days? Tons of table food and finger food. Basically anything he can grab in small pieces.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? C has been a really easy baby. I was pretty worried about his gross motor delays, but he's coming along, and PT is going well. I find that I compare him to lots of other babies, and I guess that's the hardest thing for me. What is the best thing? He is SO FUN. He's adorable and sweet and really showing a ton of personality.
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? We've talked about TTC again, but will wait until after our move and I get settled into my new job. No period yet (still BFing some, and have Mirena).
Hello all! We are either just arrived or rounding the corner to the big 1st birthday! How is everyone doing?
- How old is your LO? 4 days shy of 10 months -How are you and your SO doing? Well! -Is your LO walking yet? Nope, but she can take steps with her walking toy and is learning to cruise -How many teeth? 8 -What new things has LO learned lately? How to clap! -Any words? I don't think any are real words. -how is sleep? Still hit or miss. Last night she woke 2 times but self soothed, it was lovely. -What is baby eating these days? Anything and everything. But we struggle to get 16oz of formula in her.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? I wish her naps were more consistent. What is the best thing? She is so happy.
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? 26 weeks pregnant on Friday!

So more of the fine motor skills? That's good to set up play for him to work on that. I sometimes try that with DS and crawling but it's hard. I sometimes pick up his stomach off the floor and try to move his hands and legs. That does not go over well, lol. It's amusing to watch though. Let me know what they say at his check up, and I'll let you know how Friday goes.
How old is your LO? E is 9 months! And a week and some days. -How are you and your SO doing? Uhhh... I mean, things aren't bad, but I told a close friend we're kind of like roommates who get along ok/well and have a baby together. We're actually parenting well together, so I shouldn't downplay that, but our relationship as a couple hardly exists these days. I have to update you guys on my surgery. That doesn't help. Regardless, this is a big area in need of major improvement. Like I said, nothing is bad/wrong; I just miss feeling like a wife, rather than only a mom (even if being a mom is the most awesome and meaningful thing I will ever know in this lifetime). -Is your LO walking yet? She "butt scoots" and can get up on one foot and one knee, but she can't really stand on her own yet. If you'll hold our your fingers, she'll "walk" with assistance. She LOVES standing and does so by leaning against toys or furniture until her legs get tired. -How many teeth? Three teeth! Two on bottom, one on top, and I think the second on top is super close to poking through. She has the cutest little gap between the top two, I can already see. My little Madonna. -What new things has LO learned lately? I think she's signing for milk sometimes, but it may be a wave. The almost-standing thing is new. She also acknowledges certain objects when I name them now. In her room, I'll say, "Where's E's X?" and she'll turn to look at X. -Any words? I flipped out a while ago, because she actually said, "Mama," several times in one day, but it has turned into (as another poster said) mamamama, and we have dadadada and then mama and dada sprinkled in with other babble strings. So, nothing really. Randomly, we've heard hi, boo, etc. I guess those were just coincidences, too. -how is sleep? Can't talk about nighttime sleep. Weekend naps are also off limits. Daycare naps suck. -What is baby eating these days? What's she not eating? Just kidding. There are tons of things I still need to try, but she's liked everything she's had (e.g., every puree available, yogurt, chicken, shredded cheese, hummus, banana slices, etc.) and she takes 15 - 18 oz of milk at school and nurses morning and night; for solids, she eats anything available as a puree (I don't make my own, we use the Beech Nut jars with the green caps - most have "just" in the name), yogurt (YoBaby and also plain, full-fat Greek), shredded cheese, little pieces of chicken, sliced bananas,
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? Nothing really about her or her age - I LOVE this age, and she's an easy baby, by all comparisons - she is truly such a joy when I'm with her. I think the difficult thing for me is still feeling exhausted (from being "on" all the time, not even a lack of sleep, or maybe I just require way more sleep than other people) and never having enough time. Someone once told me, "You'll never realize how much time you waste until you have a baby," and I wanted to smack her. Turns out she was right. I used to accomplish so much and still have time to burn. Ha! What is the best thing? Only one? She "gives me love"/shows me affection. It makes me cry to even write this - that's how overwhelming it is. But she hugs her little stuffed animals and hugs me or leans against my chest, and she pats my back when I'm carrying her. (And if I'm allowed to list more than one, no matter because I don't have enough time for everything I'd like to write!)
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? I think I want another baby, but we are not TTC for a variety of reasons. I'm not allowed to have sex right now; I am a little overwhelmed by never having any time for myself and battling some depression or at least something like that related to my failed surgery and crummy recovery; and AF hasn't returned. I also suspect my husband would rather be OAD, though he has said he is open to having a 2nd.

I didn't get tagged but my DD was 11 months yesterday. I'm on my phone so can't quote properly.
She has 4 teeth She has been crawling since 6 months but can't stand alone yet, only cruising holding onto things.
She can wave goodbye and say bye and dada.
She is the busiest baby- go go go but she tires herself out and still naps for at least 4 hours a day which is nice.
She sometimes sleeps through the night but mostly has one wakeup.
She is a great eater and will frequently eat a whole banana, whole egg and whole avocado in one sitting. She only weighs 17 pounds though. Best thing- everything, she is the happiest baby ever which I deserve after colic hell lol.

I don't post much but wanted to join in!
How old is your LO? 10.5 months
How are you and your SO doing? Not great...we parent well together but need to find our groove again as a couple. I feel like we're roommates lately...it's not good.
Is your LO walking yet? Not unassisted, she's cruising everywhere and loves pushing her push walker all over the house. She'll take some steps holding our hands. She's started standing one handed lately too.
How many teeth? 6...but there all not completely in yet.
What new things has LO learned lately? She's started saying a lot more sounds lately and loves waving.
Any words? No complete words yet but says ba ba, ca (I think for cat), bir (for bird) and I just heard her say da da the other day. And she's Mmm-ma when she wants me.
How is sleep? Going really well lately...she sleeps all night now and still takes 2 naps a day. About an hour in the morning and 1-2 hours in the afternoon.
What is baby eating these days? Everything! We moved on from baby food around 8 months and she loves eating pretty much whatever we're eating. She's not as interested in bottles but still gets about 20 ounces a day.
What is the hardest thing about having your 10-12 month old? When she wants something but gets upset when I don't understand what it is she wants, wanting to crawl and move around ALL the time, especially when we're somewhere where she can't do that.
What is the best thing? Everything! I love her laughs and how well she interacts, I love playing with her and see her learning new things.
Anyone wanting to TTC or already expecting? Anybody else still not gotten their periods back yet? Definitely not TTC or expecting, still on the fence as to whether we're OAD or want another. I got my period back at 6 weeks PP, even with EBF. It sucks!
I'll add too. -turned one on sat - feel like so and I are doing better than before we had him, we communicate better now -yes walking, first steps at 9.5 months and is everywhere now -4 teeth, seems to be teething again but I don't see anymore yet - new things- saying no and shaking his head - words- mama, no, dada and something close to dog, nothing is truly clear yet and I don't know that I would count it as a true word -sleep- finally manageable -food- we offer everything but he is really picky, just started WCM this week and it's going ok - hardest part is he's very clingy and only wants me ever -best part is watching him explore -the tttc keeps getting pushed back. At first I thought at one year but now I feel not ready like life is good right now
