DS turned 5 weeks old yesterday. I cried today because he was just not being a nice baby. Then I went to Panera for lunch. Had a pacifier stashed in my boobs the entire time. Oops.
Other than his screaming fits throughout the day, he's an awesome sleeper. He's on the chunkier side so I think that contributes to his sleeping longer stretches. We're working on unswaddled crib naps this week.
He does great at tummy time, but I'm with you on the not much interaction happening. I try to narrate what I'm doing every once in awhile. Sometimes I try to read a book if he's not screaming. His favorite things right now are his crib mirror and black/white flashcards. We are getting the beginnings of a smile and some babbling. I'm currently binge watching House of Cards and House Hunters so he gets plenty of screen time.
Feeling mostly healed from the C-section. Sneezing hurts like a bitch on the incision, but on the plus side, I don't pee when I sneeze so there's that. PP bleeding is done! Have my 6 week follow up next Tuesday. Looking forward to working out and running again.

Where does one buy Brewers yeast? Amazon? Grocery store?

Checking in! Baby toutsuite is 9 w/o. Still only sleeping 2-3 hour stretches but we just got his reflux issue under control. I only have a few weeks left of m/l and am dreading leaving him but excited to actually interact with adults again. I'm so happy to see a good number of the gotp ladies here since there were so many of us due around the same time!
Not sure I count anymore since B is 12 weeks today.
But, she's amazing! I seriously feel so lucky. She's giving me a 6 hour stretch of sleep at night, and is just sweet and happy in general.
I go back to work Friday night that's been really hard, but I'm trying to focus on the fact that we were able to work it out for me to work part time (7p-7a Friday and Saturday night) so it's much better than it would have been.

This is my first week back too. I was really sad last week thinking about coming back but this week it actually been better than the anticipation was. I have other things to focus on/distract me at work. Hopefully you'll get it the swing of things too.
C STTN last night and I'm optimistic that trend might continue since she isn't napping much in the afternoons for my MIL.
Also we are so lucky that we don't have to pay for daycare. DH works second shift so he has shifted his schedule to go to bed right when he gets home. Then he watches her when I leave in the morning and drops her at my MIL's for the afternoon before going to work. It's been working better than we expected.
I'm here! C is 6 1/2 weeks old. I cannot believe how fast time is flying! Same old stuff here...still battling with excess fussiness caused by gas pain and not sleeping all that well (although his stretches are good, they are mostly while sleeping on me...it's rare that he sleeps in his RNP at night). Napping is going better but it's only because I have found that he will sleep well in the baby carrier...I feel like I spend most of my day walking LOL!
We started prilosec (after being on Zantac), along with probiotics, two weeks ago. I feel like both have really made a big difference but it's not 100% resolved yet. I talked with a LC on Monday and she thinks he also has some BFing issues (fast letdown and oversupply) that are contributing to the gas and vomitting (she actually thought he didn't have reflux but I followed up with her and let her know I do think he does...otherwise we wouldn't have seen an improvement and also when I stopped the Zantac for 1 1/2 days he started vomitting a ton). We have an appointment this morning...excited to make progress and also to see how much he weighs now!
