In an effort to streamline making dinner, I just cooked several things: chicken, meatloaf, a roast in the crock. I had leftover ground beef that needed to be cooked today so I browned it. Besides tacos and chili, what do you make with browned ground beef?
On a scale of: my kid might have eaten a goldfish cracker to I choose not to vaccinate because of ingredients, how bad for you are those microwaveable bags of veggies?
What's a food that is not exotic that you have never tried, or only tried recently? For me: King's Hawaiian rolls. I only heard about them on here and they were not in any supermarkets by me. Recently, they've been at 2 stores I frequently shop at, so I tried them this week. I love them, but my kids thought they were gross. Never tried: a Sonic drink. We're supposed to get 2-3 Sonics in the area in the next year. DH really wants to try the Slushee drinks.

I don't know about the microwaveable bags of veggies. I can't see why they would be bad for you? I use frozen veggies all the time and make them on the stove top because we don't have a microwave.
Recently tried: Indian-style creamed spinach. Delicious! Never tried: Sonic drinks for me as well.
Other than the usual I make a sort of baked ziti/rotini casserole out of browned ground beef. Stir noodles with sauce and beef, layer in pan, add cheese as you see fit. Not gourmet but edible. Taco salad is my other go to.
We live off those steam bags of veggies. Esp. for snack or lazy nights. I figure plastic and all it's still better than goldfish crackers. I highly doubt it's going to kill me simply because I can't worry about everything. I've been buying the big bags lately though and just dumping some in a bowl with a bit of water. About the same difference.
As for the last part, I don't know for sure. I buy a ton of different things at the store all the time (it's a bit of a hobby for me). We also have few options here in the sticks so if you name it I probably haven't tried it.
Ground beef - tarot tot casserole, spaghetti, lasagna, goulash, beef and black bean enchiladas, and sloppy joes are all popular here.
We eat the frozen steamer bags of veggies, though maybe only 2-ish times per month, just depending on what we're having and what I have in the freezer.
