I am so proud of my little buddy. We are at the airport and during the security screening he started yelling "dog" over and over. I tried to tell him there were no dogs in the airport when I looked over and saw one. He has also been saying "cool" and uses it appropriately (no clue where that came from, I don't think my H or I say cool). Plus, he was so good at Disney. He was deadly afraid of Mickey and Minnie, but so sweet with Duffy. He picked a Duffy stuffed animal from all of the toys at the gift shop and has been hugging and kissing him all day. I was in Boston while he and my husband were in Chicago for almost all of the last month and I missed him so much. I can't believe how much he is growing.
N told me, unprompted, during dinner "mommy, this is good!" (heart)
In general, his language the past 2 weeks has just exploded and it's so crazy to see him understand everything and be able to verbalize himself so much more.
This morning I put on a show for C while I showered and DH was getting ready for work. It was Sofia the First from On Demand. When I got out of the shower, Daniel Tiger was on from Netflix.
C found the remote for the Amazon Fire Stick in a closed a drawer, turned it on, chose Daniel Tiger, put the remote back in the drawer and shut it.
DH made dinner tonight b/c I feel like crap. Frittata with sausage, chard, and goat cheese, along with sourdough bread. DS sat still in his seat, ate two HUGE wedges (meat AND veggies people!) and declared to DH "dis is best dinner I evar had." Then wiped his mouth and hands, and asked to be excused. Amazing.
They've all been sitting quietly, writing (DD2=scribbling) out their valentines and decorating their boxes for over an hour. I think it is a sitting quiet record for the 3 YO

DS1 had been so sweet lately. My mom is here for the week. After lunch, I got out the cookies they made together for dessert. He took one and gave it to me, one to grandma and then one for himself and happily thanked me. It melted my stone heart.
