My 10 year high school reunion is this year and I got called out on fb as someone interested in planning the reunion. Lol no. I don't live locally and I'm not even sure I'll go. I just sent an email to the other organizer declining helping at all, and I feel a little bad because she's a friend and I don't want her to have to do it alone, but there is just no part of me interested in doing this. I can't believe its been 10 years already!

I'm so distracted today, likely because I can't think about much except how tight my jeans are which is likely a function of me not running as much (and still eating like I am) which is due to my issues with O'ing. Seriously. No wonder I've been obsessing all day. Fat pants tomorrow it is!
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

My 10 year reunion was 2 years ago and I didn't go. From the pictures I saw only a handful of people actually showed up.
I'm obsessing over O'ing. I'm on CD 16 and have been O'ing on CD 14 the past couple cycles.. I haven't had any O pain this cycle even though I usually feel it loud and clear. Fingers crossed DH will keep HIO every other day.

I feel you. It seems like every morning I'm trying to find an outfit I can wear leggings with so I don't have to wear real pants. Last week my favorite jeans ripped in the crotch and I am dreading shopping for a replacement pair.

I'm in the same boat as everyone, I think it's just a side effect of winter - I just get used to wearing leggings or sweatpants or whatever and then suddenly I wake up and its the beginning of March and none of my clothes fit!

Is TCOYF worth the read/money? I read up a lot online about different topics and feel pretty educated.
I'd be interested to know this too. I wonder if it has any more info I'm missing. I did read The Impatient Woman's Guide to Getting Pregnant and found it informative. That was 10 months ago, though. I'm still an impatient woman trying to get pregnant.
I have another one. My sister in law and her husband got a puppy this weekend and I'm so jealous. I'm a total dog person but my husband has allergies. We tried fostering a dog 4 years ago and it didn't work out. Even the poodle breeds give him issues. It is honestly one of the bigger disappointments of my life. I grew up with dogs and always thought I'd have a pet in adulthood so it really sucks for me and I whined about it all weekend.
belle55 Has your H seen or would he be willing to see an allergist? I have allergies, but I take daily allergy meds and get allergy shots. We have one labrador, and now after almost 2 years I only break out in hives if he licks me directly (I trained him not to) or start wheezing if I neglect to take my allergy meds.
We're moving forward with bringing home another puppy! Waiting to hear what day in April we can bring him home. (I'm hoping since I am feeling crazy bringing home a lab puppy with an almost 2 year old lab is asking the gods to bless me with a baby during the craziness of two energetic young labs. A girl can hope, right?)

grover How often do you need to get shots? He got twice weekly allergy shots as a child because they had a cat but doesn't want to do that as an adult because of the time commitment. I can't blame him for that but I do wonder if there's an alternative. Meds would definitely be more convenient.
In all honesty its not the best time for us to get a dog now anyway as we both have long-ish commutes. But I really hope we can find a way to make it work in the future.

I was told to go as often as convenient, but with the stipulation that it would take longer to get to a maintenance dosage. At first it was come as often as I'd like, with the minimum of once every two weeks, but that I could go as often as once every three days. I'm now up to once every three weeks. I'm trying to go a lot now though because I added on a third shot (pollen) and I need to get that up to maintenance dose before pollen season starts. Then I should be able to go once a month. The longest part of each appt is the drive too and from- the actual shots and waiting time average to be about 5 minutes a visit. The drive is about 10-15 minutes from home, 20 minutes from work. It's worth it because a) our insurance covers most of it, b) H was able to get a puppy that he wanted (he grew up with 1-2 dogs at all times of his life until college/shortly after we got married, and c)I am able to get another puppy for my Moo to have a brother.

Honestly, I just read the Fertility Friend tutorials, and felt like I was pretty informed.
Thanks. I read all the FF articles a few months ago and once I charted for a couple months, I easily saw my pattern. I have a lot of questions now regarding ttc after a miscarriage.

Hmmm, I don't recall people saying TCOYF had a lot about that. Honestly, everything everyone has told me through going through it myself is that it's different for everyone, and it may take a while for your cycle to get back to normal. Mine has been off for sure. Pre-MMC, I ovulated on CD11-12, and after, it went to as late as 18, and seems to have settled back around 14. Weird.

I agree with Mushe, I think ttc after a mc is a little different for everyone. I've always heard you may be slightly more fertile (didn't work for me) and that for *most* miscarriages there is really no reason to wait before trying again. I know after mine I had weird spotting for my first two cycles and my O day moved around a little but LP always stayed the same.

I got am older editon used copy from Amazon I have referenced back to it several times after giving it a pretty good read through. There isn't much about ttc after an mc but it was informative.

This makes me feel way better. Glad I'm not the only one!leggings for the rest of the week it is!
I skipped my 10 year reunion. It was the same day as DH's, and since I loathed HS and he still has good friends he wanted to see, we went with his. I sort of wish I had gone in that "look at how hot I am now and what a fantastic husband I have" type of way, but I don't feel like I missed anything.
Yesterday, I told my older sister, who has two kids, that we are trying to get pregnant. I just wanted someone IRL to know and I was also curious about how long it took her to conceive her two kids. She immediately started bombarding me with questions and "tips" about how to figure out when I am ovulating and things like that. I think she thought I had no idea how things work or what I was doing.
She then said that it took her one cycle with each of her kids but that "it could take you months and months and that is okay!" I already sort of regret telling her!
