Mine is lame, but I killed it yesterday at the grocery store with coupons. I saved so much that it felt like I stole stuff. I'm not an extreme couponer, it's just that my coupon stash lined up perfectly with what I needed to buy and what was on sale.

ewall love when that happens! I went the other week just with coupons for things I knew were on sale and I cleaned up. It was somehow relaxing/therapeutic walking around the store getting the deals. If I go during the day it's not very crowded which is key for me...I hate shopping when it's crowded.
My amazing husband, after his appointment yesterday, wanted to spoil me for Valentine's Day. He bought me a chair for our bedroom and a nice cabinet for our den.
Plus, all of his purchases for the new dog earned me $25 in rewards at Pet Co. I only had to supply .47 towards a bag of cat food for my girl cat.

I did really well teaching this past term. I just got my student evaluation and it was very good, plus a number of my students emailed me to say how much they enjoyed the class and asked if I am teaching anything else in the program because they'd like to be in my class again
The kicker is, I did not get an assignment for this current term that just started. The school brought in all new teachers (I am assuming just to bulk up the adjunct pool) and it really annoys me. I should find out in the next 2 weeks if I get an assignment for next term (terms are only 10 weeks so they move quickly) I just think it sucks to do a really good job and then essentially be fired!
Thanx, the only thing now is that it makes the kitchen feel smaller, I'm not sure if the extra pantry space makes up for it or not. I hope so. (By this I mean $$ value, because to me it's worth it. We have no plans to sell the house so that's really not an issue right now, but once we get the renos upstairs done we want to rent it out and move somewhere else. We bought the house as a rental property, we are just slow on the renos. Lol)

HoneySpider I finally got it to work!!! Please excuse the mess we were having to clean out our fridge so the counters/floors have random stuff on it...H was in charge of "organization" as we transferred things over and as you can see his organization could use a little work! Oh well it is done now. We also got a microwave but that is boring.
awick14HoneySpider the best part is that my fridge makes water and ice now....I cannot tell you how happy it makes me.
Yes! Our last place did not have an ice maker so we had to use those stupid plastic trays. I didn't use ice too much, too much of a hassle. When we came here we were excited about the ice maker.

HoneySpider this is the first time I have ever had an ice maker. Growing up I didn't have one and then none of my apartments had it. OMG my life has been changed.
awick14 I have the same LG washer/dryer set! This was my first experience with a front-loading washer. What do you think of it? And your reno looks great!

Just bought tickets to see Weird Al in Baltimore. YEAH!! It's a Saturday so we're going to make a weekend of it and also catch the Orioles game Sunday afternoon.
this is a HUGE accomplishment for me. HUGE. I am so prone to cavities, and I'm horrible about going to the dentist (it's been 2 years since I last went). I had no sensitivity during the scraping, and the dentist found no soft spots. they wouldn't do an xray until they talked to my OB, but didn't see a need to get one until my appointment in August.
and I think they've realized that I'm terrible at keeping appointments, so they went ahead and scheduled my next cleaning in August, lol.
@moonbeam- I love the washer, I haven't even used the dryer yet as we have no venting for it yet, we have to put the vent through the roof, and we are waiting until March/April to do the roof.
grover, the washer and dryer will be stacked in the right side, and the left side will have shelves in it. Because it's so deep, because of the washer/dryer, the shelves will be L shaped instead of all the way to the front, so my stubby arms can reach to the back. Eta: stacker kit comes on Thursday/Friday, I'll take a pic and post it on the weekend when we get them stacked.
