Pick out my outfit for the day (paisley orange pencil skirt and orange smocked tee), realize that I should probably wear a cami under the top because all of my nude bras are in the wash. All morning the cami was rolling up and annoying me so I decide to change said cami when I go home for lunch (I only live a few minutes away from my office)
Get in the car to come home for lunch and RIIIIIIIIPPPPPPP. Yup, there goes the back seam of my skirt.
FML
At least my skirt ripped on the way home and not on the way to another meeting or something.
I will take that as a sign that maybe I should call off the rest of the afternoon and wear sweatpants.
ugh, I feel you. I was walking to the bus when I realized I had a stain on my skirt (got all dressed up because we're going out for our anniversary dinner tonight) and then, one of the straps on my brand new KS bag BROKE. H got it for my for my birthday (it's one I posted about finding on ebay - well, he surprised me and found one of the last ones in the country in a KS store in Kansas!) and this was the first time I even used it.
sorry to hijack your post, I'm just also having one of those days

Billysgirl-That sucks about your skirt but I agree that it could be fun to pick another outfit for the day. I had the same thing happen to me the first day at a new high school. Was getting on the bus to go to school when I felt a rip. It was bad enough that I was the new girl but I was the new girl with a ripped skirt.

Thanks everyone!
Nacho - the skirt is Loft from a few months ago. Apparently it sold out online super quick but I was lucky that someone returned it (in MY size!) to our store.

When that happens I just figure it's meant to be. Love the skirt. So fun.

Exactly. To quote my friend - it's like the shopping angels are with you.
Gorgeous yellow skirt! That sucks for the reason you had to change though. Totally have had that happen but with jeans while out shopping with DH. I was luckily wearing a long sweater so I just pulled it down over my butt since we were already out, but man I was embarrassed. Even though it was only he and I who knew.
