Happy Monday! It's snowing here for really the first time this winter. We will have to get the shovels out of the basement where they have been stored since last year.
DS went down for his nap without any fight so I'm currently enjoying coffee in silence. This like never happens. And DH might close the office due to snow so I will so excited if he comes home early.
I bought Crispy M&M's over the weekend. I'm so happy they are back! Just pretend I didn't mention this when we have our H&F check in.

It's snowing here too, just lightly though. My boss just called and it scared the crap out of me, haha. She said our east coast office is expecting a foot of snow tomorrow so she wanted to know if I could come in early. Too bad they never do the same for us The call scared me though because I have this weird fear that on one of these holidays, I'm going to have the day wrong for some reason and I'm going to get a call asking where I am or something. I have no idea why, lol.
Anyways, I'm just relaxing for now. Planning on doing some cleaning, go to my doctor's appointment, and swing by Target. H picked up my prescription for me (testing strips) and apparently someone else's lancelet things were in my bag. Odd. They aren't even the right type for my meter, haha. So I'm going to bring them back. I don't need any more of those anyways! Hopefully the lady that was supposed to get them didn't have trouble getting hers. Pretty bad though since now I have her name and address and whatever other info is on there. Good job, Target pharmacy!

We are getting our first real snow too. I'm at home watching SATC reruns on E and responding to the random work emails that come in. I never made it to the grocery store yesterday, so we may starve for dinner.
jjwritergirl yes, kind of like tiny bites of Crunch bar. But better! Good luck with the house cleaning. It will feel so nice once it's done and your house is back to normal.
We are currently dreaming up ideas for our 10th wedding anniversary trip (it's 17 months away). We are thinking about a cruise out of San Juan, but we are also looking at a resort in the British Virgin Islands.
estrellita I have a question! I don't remember, do you guys have a name picked out yet? (I'm not asking you to share, just wondering if you are waiting until the big day to decide!)
krystee Would you be taking kiddo along? I'm guessing not if it's an anniversary trip. With no kid, I would probably do the cruise
DH is home with gut issues today. He sent me to take a nap first thing since G was up every 1.5 hours last night. A nap helped for sure. DH will be working in his office to get some stuff done but so nice to have him around.
I worked at 5:30 this morning. I have a massive headache and don't feel super well, so hopefully a nap today will help!
I have lots of calls to make today and we have an appointment with someone at H's school to talk about next year! Busy Monday over here. I already can't wait to go to bed this evening lol!
We didn't get any snow, but it's really cold. No school for the kids in the neighborhood today (which is nice, because the school buses are really loud in the morning!).

ewall kinda? Lol. I had a list, had H look at it and make a list, and there were 3 we agreed on. Between the 3 I was leaning toward 2 and he was leaning toward 2 but only one overlapped, haha. We were also looking at popularity in our area and this one is the only one not in the top 10 here. We aren't 100% but the name that's been sticking so far is Nolan middle name on the other hand is going to be harder, lol.
C finally had a really good night of sleep (5 1/2 hrs between bedtime and first feeding, sleeping 4 1/2 hrs, followed by a 3:45 and 1:45 stretch). Of course I woke up after 5 hrs wondering if he was still breathing LOL! I got a solid 4 hrs sleep...it was AMAZING! And, he slept 2:15 this morning...unfortunately it was in the baby carrier and me having to walk so no break, but still a good nap.

Had a fun weekend with my family! Glad we left earlier on Saturday because we beat the snow getting there and then we got home today just ahead of the snow here.
Saturday morning we were near Baltimore and there was a high-speed chase....we were northbound and a car crossed over to our side and started driving south with a bunch of cops chasing after him. It was crazy. We looked it up later and the guy was wanted for killing his family in KY. At the end of the chase he started opening fire on the cops and ended up getting killed. So glad we didn't get caught up in that!
luv2rn4fun Hooray for sleep! You must be so encouraged today! He is starting to turn a corner M is too. I don't want to jinx it but the past two nights he slept through the night. I woke up at 7:30am and thought for sure he was dead. Nope, just sleeping. He went cold turkey from waking up 4-6 times a night to that. I hope it continues, but even if it doesn't, I savored two full nights of sleep for the first time in 8 months.
Thanks! I hope you're right! I do feel very encouraged right now after having 5 good nights in a row (the previous 4 were more of a 4, 3, 2, 2 schedule though) but know that it can change at any moment. Honestly the best improvement is C sleeping in his RNP instead of me! That has been awesome and he's pretty much falling asleep nursing which is so much better than the 30-60 min of soothing trying to get him to fall asleep after nursing.
Glad M is STTN! I will be praying that his streak continues for you! I bet you feel so much better after having a couple full nights of sleep! I cannot believe M is already 8 months old too! He sure is adorable! Love his cute little smile...he always seems so happy!
First big snow happened here yesterday/today. It's pretty but bummed me out because I had to miss two things I was looking forward to, a doctor appt with ultrasound AND a massage. Bummer! Snow makes me dream of a beach vacation though... warmth!
krystee, I highly recommend spending time in PR if you go there! We had a wonderful vacation there!
jjwritergirl I am in complete admiration that you've stayed sane for 8 months without sleep. I will be in an institution if W isn't STTN by then.
I stayed at my parents' house on valentines night. My friend's dinner party was in the same town and my parents watched W for me because I'm still terrified of taking W anywhere. My mom offered to do W's night feedings and that little stinker only let her sleep 2 hours. I go back to work in 9 days and I really should get a bunch of stuff done. I need a handyman to come hang my light fixtures, the door company to come put in the deadlock, and to schedule appointments with an allergist and dentist. Let's be honest, all of that won't happen in 9 days.
