How often do you have clothes dry cleaned? Once every couple of months, maybe.
What kind of clothes do you dry clean? I have a couple of dresses and blouses, my H suit/shirts after a formal event.
Do you have any of your clothes starched? Which ones? None that I can think of.
Does your dry cleaner offer alterations? Do you trust them? Yes, and she did the bridesmaid's dress from the wedding I was in back in October. They are a little pricey, but do great work, and quick turn around.

How often do you have clothes dry cleaned? every couple months
What kind of clothes do you dry clean? mostly dress shirts and I'll be taking H's suit for this weekend
Do you have any of your clothes starched? Which ones? no, you have to tell them you don't want starch
Does your dry cleaner offer alterations? Do you trust them? I'm very hesitant to have people do my alterations because I'm spoiled to my grandmother always doing mine. I think my regular does, but I used a different place when I had to have something done more quickly.
Confession - I've never gone to the dry cleaner. I toss everything in the wash on delicate.
I was going to ditto this, except I took in a ballgown ONE time in high school and they fucked up the tulle. I haven't gone back to a cleaner of any type since.

I'm just too lazy to iron dress shirts.
I ask because when I take shirts or slacks to the cleaners, I have to specify "no starch". I felt certain that it was a regional thing. Sounds like it is.

How often do you have clothes dry cleaned? As needed. I take stuff in maybe 3-4 times a year.
What kind of clothes do you dry clean? Wool coats, suits, some skirts and dresses that require it
Do you have any of your clothes starched? Which ones? Nop
ETA: If no, do you have to specify that you don't want starch?
Does your dry cleaner offer alterations? Do you trust them? They do, but I haven't tried them. There was a cleaner I used to go to where I had alterations done, but they closed, and I haven't had the need for any alterations since then. I'd probably trust most dry cleaners for basic stuff like hemming. If it's something more complicated, I'd probably look for a dedicated tailor.
