Mobile so non-clicky: Before Easter? After Easter?
Do you think one of these weeks makes more sense than the other? One of my sisters has the break the same week we do (before), but the other has the week after, so getting all the cousins together won't happen.

Neither one. We're off the third week of March.
Then school is closed Good Friday, but open Easter Monday.
I feel like schools that tie their spring break to Easter are usually off on Good Friday, whether they get that full week before Easter off or whether they get Good Friday plus the whole next week off.
When I was in school we used to get a week long spring break in March, PLUS an Easter break which was at least Friday and Monday off, and sometimes also either Thursday or Tuesday.

Our school district is off April 13-17 (always third week in April), but it really varies around here (my sister's district is before Easter). Every other year we were getting this week off too, but I think they're doing away with that and just doing a 4-day weekend.
Always 3rd week in March for Spring Break and we usually get Good Friday off. Since we have had so many snow days, the board is considering bringing in teachers and students on Good Friday to make up hours for students and a contract day for staff.
The district I grew up in gives the Thursday before easter (if there were no snow days), Good Friday and Easter monday. No other winter or spring break.
We have Easter break here, but the kids are prob going to lose 2 of the 3 days off for it at this point because they have nowhere to add days on to make up for snow days.
