I ordered baby shower invitations. They cost me $25 for 60. Very good deal with the promo they were running. I wanted them ASAP so I selected 2 business day shipping. That cost me $25. Pretty much the same price.
I notice after I placed my order that I listed the wrong baby registry. I call and the representative was very helpful (so I thought.) She made the change and then had me go into my account and view the proof online. I received an email with the changes (or so I thought) and credit to my account followed immedietly by a new purchase (for the revision.)
I get the invites yesterday and they are wrong.
I call up, explain what is happening and get new cards made that now won't be here until Tuesday. I really wanted to get these out this weekend.
However, I never opened the email from Vistaprint with the changes because I saw the proof. I just opened the email and noticed the changes weren't made originally. Had I opened it that day I could have called again to correct it.
My dilemma is, do I call and ask for a partial shipping credit? Basically, cover the cost of what a 4-5 business day shipping rate would be as opposed to the 2 day. I feel weird because the first error was on me and the second error was on them.

That's a tough one.
Since you reviewed the proof and their customer service person gave you the impression that proofing would be all you needed to do, it might not hurt to call.
