Isn't it funny how when you don't need a dress or outfit, you can fill a Pinterest page from top to bottom but when it actually comes down to needing something specific, you wind up totally stumped?
I'm going to be a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding.
It's in the mountains, smaller wedding, good food, good wine, less focused on tradition, more on hosting a wonderful event of close friends and family.
She's wearing lace - slim, simple, great accessories. She looks like Kate Hudson and is very fashionable.
Our only guidelines are to get something great - the wedding colors, such as they are, are mint-blue (not green, not turquoise or teal, a little greyed out), creams, some gold. She's cool with anything in that realm or that works with that realm, and any formality or style. I'm thinking short...probably. Just due to formality and comfort - it won't be super, super formal and it will be summer. She's not looking for matchy-matchy.
I'm short and curvy, size 8-10-ish. I'll spend whatever.
Any amazing dresses out there that you can think of?

Not sure if she's open to prints or if you are open to vintage, but this seems like the perfect color scheme. The shop ships and is super clean. When the shop owner gives a decade, she means that decade. This seems like it would be comfortable and easy to wear again if the measurements could work or would with alterations. She sells indie designers, vintage, things you might find at mod cloth, and cute art. Her prices range from reasonable to an $800 Lela Rose that I was head over heals for last spring. If she would clear rose gold, this is on sale at Anthro for $75. You would need alterations, but it is so fun and at that price they are definitely in the budget. If she's ok with non traditional, those would be my picks. I'd keep my eye on BHLDN. Their dresses are gorgeous.
