I'm having surgery this Wednesday that is mostly diagnostic, but they plan to try and remove some scar tissue from my remaining tube, but may have to take the tube all together. I also have a cyst that they may or may not remove depending on what that might do to my remaining ovary.
In any case, I'm obviously anxious about the whole thing because I won't know what's really going on with me until the surgery is over. Last night I went out with some girlfriends and one of them made me this awesome care package for while I'm home recovering with magazines, lotion, comfy socks, and yummy snacks. Her husband picked out mini Cadbury eggs to, you know, give me good luck with my eggs. Hahaha!
Anyway, it was just such a nice warm-fuzzy moment to end a crazy week. Anyone else have anything good happen to them?

What an awesome friend and I love the eggs, haha Good luck with the surgery!
The other day a close friend who knows a lot about what we've been going through just flat out asked what she can do to help. It was something so minor but meant a lot to me - usually people just offer nice words/good thoughts and sometimes you need more than that.

awww...thanks for thinking of me guys. I'm home resting now and things went really well. She was able to clear my tube (so happy!) and she said something about laser treating the cyst I have and confirmed that it is endometriosis. She also found a benign tumor that she eventually wants to remove, but not until after I have kids. This was really the best possible outcome and it makes me all weepy to think about it.
