Oh shit. And what about my uggs? I don't have to toss them do I?
Nooooooo
My pedi gave us the advice of changing M's socks half way through the day. Can you do that? No need to get rid of your shoes, but I would imagine UGGS might not be a good choice right now becasue I'm guessing they make your feet sweat more.
ETA: OH! Also, let your feet breathe as often as possible.

I could change my socks mid day. I'll give the TTO a try since I have some available in my cabinet.
Uggs you wear without socks though. That's why I'm wondering if I've contaminated my uggs for good ?
OHHH I did not know that! Good question for your doctor. I'm not thinking it will stick around as I think it's the moisture that causes the issue....but I don't know for sure.
Sounds like fungus. Ask for a topic med to treat it. The oral one can give horrible diarrhea to some people. It's pretty common. Don't be embarrassed in the slightest.
My H had athlete's foot along with a toenail fungus, and the dermatologist prescribed an antifungal cream (econazole). It definitely worked and his feet are back to normal. The doc also recommended letting your feet breathe as often as possible, changing socks frequently, and spraying the inside of shoes with Tinactin spray.

I had that problem last year; I actually went to a dermatologist, and she gave me some drops. I still had to wait for the nail to grow out for it to go completely away.
Also, weird, but the drops smelled like Listerine, and according to Pinterest, Listerine makes a good foot soak? I assume elleblue's suggestion of tea tree oil would help.
