I saw Bobby Flay in NY filming a commercial for his show. He was an arrogant snot when he realized people recognized him.
I used to work with Clark Gregg's uncle. From The New Adventures of Old Christine and now the Avengers fame. He was awesome, he talked about returning from the wedding of Gregg to Jennifer Grey. Didn't know a thing about all the celebrities he met there, lol.
I saw Uma and Ethan a couple of times around Columbia in NYC on the street. He looks exactly like he does in the movies. She looked beautiful, but different.
I live a few doors away from Kid Rock and see him all the time. Although this is misleading because all of our closest neighbors have between 10 and 70 acres of property so a few doors is actually about 1/2 mile away, even though he is just a few houses away. He nods to me when we see him in town but I'm pretty sure he has no idea why I look familiar to him.
I was in South Beach when they were filming On Any Given Sunday at our hotel. We saw Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx and Oliver Stone. We watched Jamie Foxx do push ups before every scene to make his pecs look better.
Jesse James (Sandra Bullock's ex-H) once told me in a very polite way to shut the fuck up on a flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
ETA: Totally forgot this one, I sat next to Mr. T at a bar in Bay City, MI and chatted with him. this must have been close to 20 years ago. He was in town for some steel cage fight to the death thing.
Growing up my friends dad worked as a stage hand at all the venues in Boston so we got to back stage and meet lots of famous people. Barenaked Ladies, Stephen Jenkns (3rd eye blind) Alex Trebek when they taped Jeopardy! in Boston. He is really short!
ETA: I rented Joe Perry (from Aerosmith) a video at Blockbuster one summer. He had late fees. Years later he showed up at the salon where I worked the front desk.
Years ago we were walking driving through the parking lot of The Sands. We almost got hit by Wayne Newton when he ran a stop sign. We realized who it was and followed him through the parking lot. Then we got out and started trying to follow him, yelling "Wayne" at him. He snuck into a side door and that was it. I'm also not sure what our end game was as we chased him.

LL Cool J flew into an airport I used to work at. I walked in the FBO To get coffee before I made my way upstairs and he was just sitting there. I said heyyyyy... and he goes heyyyyy...
Then I awkwardly got coffee and left. Later the People that work the front desk at the FBO wanted to know if I knew who he was. They had no idea but were guessing football player.
I was once hit on by a current member of the Colorado Avalanche. It may have worked but I had JUST met my (now) husband. And was there with him. I made the right choice. His isn't much of an accomplishment- at that time, he hit on everything with a pulse.
Jerome Bettis picked me up for a hug on my 23 birthday.
I saw a member of the Steelers at a crate and barrel? These stories are getting worse by the second.
oh wait! I saw Michael phelps at a club once which was weird. We were within 2 feet of each other. That's about it.
Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr used to live across the street from my school. Lucy Liu had a brownstone about a block away (and two big dogs!). Gerard Butler lived a couple blocks in the other direction and his favorite restaurant was a few doors down, so he was always in the neighborhood.
Penn Badgley used to take classes at my school so I ran into him a few times. Sometimes Chace Crawford would wait outside for him.
Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell filmed The Other Guys in the area and their trailers were right outside our doors. That was cool. Mark Wahlberg is really nice.
I watched Bill Murray filming St Vincent's. A neighborhood friend said he was walking his dogs past the set and Melissa McCarthy came out to pet his dogs. Apparently she's really sweet.
New York is fun. You can walk down a random street and stumble onto a film set. Makes it easy to run into celebrities, lol.
I was hoping some NYers would chime in - you must see celebrities all the time!
When walking in the upper west side I literally walked through a law and order set many years ago. I remember thinking Angie Harmon was so slim! And I walked into a bar and saw James Gandolfini having a drink. He gave me the up-down (back when I was a hot law school student), just like Tony Soprano would have!
I met Nsync on my 17th birthday. They wished me happy birthday. I touched JC and Lance's hands. Then I died.
DH and I met Lauren Velez at the Atlanta airport. She played LaGuerta on Dexter but we met them while the show was still going. She was flying with the show creator. We said hi, they were very nice. Show creator said something really bizarre that I can't remember now. It had to do with killing people (shocking, right?)
I met Cal Ripken Jr. A few times as a kid, and a ton of other baseball players I don't remember. My mom's time off meant going to baseball conventions with my dad. It was really boring.
I volunteered at the Olympic swimming trials in Omaha and worked in the warm up pool area. I saw Michael Phelps (he's so fucking tall and buff), saw Ryan Lochte prance around in his winged shoes, congratulated Missy Franklin and handed numerous other swimmers a water bottle! I know, you're probably jealous! Lol!
I ran into Sam Waterson walking his dog. It was funny because I had just read an article about his dog (a article about celebrity dog owners) and I recognized his dog first (it was in front of me sniffing a tree, SW was out of sight) and couldn't figure out why a dog on the Upper East side looked familiar to me. I was talking to and petting the dog and looked up and it was Sam Waterson! He was nice and chatted a bit about dogs with me
I waited on Ron White once and I regularly wait on the former guitarist for Evanescence, John LeCompt. He lives here and comes to my work every couple of months.
my cousin was engaged to Nicholas Cage. I met him at their engagement party. She also dated Michael Hutchence from INXS and Leo DiCaprio but I never met them.

Is your cousin (redacted by mod)? (I can delete this if you'd like)

Tommy Lee checked me out at the Palms pool in Vegas, at least my friends swore he did. He is sooooo skinny. Yeah that's about all I got. Oh and Derek Jeter invited me and a friend to his VIP table when the Yankees were in town but we declined because what kind of Boston girls would we be to accept?
