Renata - sorry no beer for you Do you just want something carbonated?
Fall trends - I'm just excited not to be sweaty anymore haha. I'm planning on doing some major damage at the outlets this weekend (tax free weekend! woot!). I'm in search of a leather moto jacket, cobalt pants, cognac slouchy boots, some new camis for layering... big things, big things. Anything on anyone else's radar?
Hi, I intro'd here when TN had the exodus. Life kind of got in the way since I had recently started a new job. Can we consider this my re-intro mid role call thread? I probably won't OOTD since I wear scrubs most days and, well, I doubt that's much of a fashion statement but, hi again.

Nice! I bought cobalt colored denim a few weeks ago and I'm debating a faux leather peplum top but it's on back order until end of October! Boo.
I keeping seeing all the magazines/websites pushing "baroque" clothing, but all the pictures are too editorial...so not sure how this "big trend" will translate in real life. I'm just thinking no thanks, pass.

I want to buy boots and wear fall sweaters. But I'm sweating in a tank top today. :-(
To the person who asked, a nail polish rack is this (at least, the one I ordered):
I'm planning on hanging it in my home office behind the door so I can see the colors I have. My polish storage right now is pitiful and only leads to my buying more.
Thanks Cab and Billysgirl. It's sweet of you to offer up good wishes to a stranger. Long story short: ex-husband of 8 years had a destructive, horrible affair and ruined me financially (and what feels like emotionally). What would have been our wedding anniversary is next week and it's my first would-have-been-anniversary post-divorce. I hate what he did and I hate that I miss him.
I actually was thinking of making a nail polish rack. I don't even know how I planned on it, but I thought about it. I think I need to just buy one, lol!

Glitzy -- I watched a youtube tutorial how to make one (found it on pinterest). I'm lazy and figured I'd rather buy it. But along the same lines, I'm too lazy to look it up. So I'm sorry...but s/b fast to find if you look it up on pinterest!

Girl used foam board or something.
Lol, why did I even think to make it? It's 2012, I can buy anything! But my brain was all, "Hey, you should make a nail rack. You can paint it and everything!" I can paint a store-bought one, too. I have no tools or anything to make one!

Thanks ladies. I had to see him tonight for some money he owed me and he handed me the ring I wore in our wedding (I didn't realize I had left it in the safe; it's made from sapphires that came from my deceased grandmother's favorite ring) and he had sad eyes and was all, "I love you and I would do anything to change everything."
I wish I had loads of money to go on a shopping spree to ease my pain! Although tomorrow I am going to treat myself to either a Stila lipgloss trio or the UD eyeliner in 1999. Choices choices.

I'm so sorry. That sucks, but I'm also soooo glad that you got your ring back since it has such sentimental value.
Divorce sucks. I remember the day probably just three months after my divorce when my ex came to my office to deliver money that was waaayyyyy overdue (I had to file a motion for contempt to even get him to address the issue of the money he owed me) and dude was wearing a shiny new wedding ring. Three months after our divorce. LOL. I facebook and google stalked and found that he married a chick he had known for EIGHT WEEKS.
Just remember that there is a reason they are our exes. They are shitheads and don't deserve us. As time goes on, this will become more and more clear to you and you will feel increasingly confident in where your new life without him is heading.
My ex ended up divorcing the new wife as well, and remarried again - to a woman he knew for only a couple of months. He is deeply fucked up, and sadly now has an innocent child with the most recent wife who now has to deal with a screwed up father.
And get the Stila lip glaze trio. I love their lip glazes. And then get one or more NYX Slide On eyeliners, which are just as good as the UD eyeliners for a fraction of the price.
