I recently lost my wedding ring. I am looking to replace it. Does anyone have a lab created diamond? If you have one do you like it? If you have one where was it purchased from. Thanks ladies!!
My co- worker has a Moissanite necklace and it is gorgerous! They are pricey but I think worth it, the color is very natural. After seeing hers I said if anything ever happened to my E ring and I needed to replace the stone I would seriously consider a Moissanite
I got a wedding set from moissaniteco.com and it's gorgeous. The diamonds in my original wedding set all got loose in their settings and they weren't good quality to begin with.
I'd definitely buy more Moissanite - I just can't see shelling out for diamonds when Moissanite looks as good or better than the real thing, and I worry about funding the blood diamond trade even though many are supposed to be conflict free.

I also agree with blood diamond issue. We spent a lot of time and money to get a conflict free diamond. We finally found a great jeweler that is enivor. and socially responsible. But in the future Moissanite is the way we will go.

Not a Synthetic Moissanite* fan at all; they look "dirty" to me and since they are DR (doubly refractive) they always have a blurry appearance when you loupe them. If you want sparkle they are one of the best "bang for your buck" and all that really matters is that you like it. JCPenney's has a good sized selection of Synthetic Moissanite.
As for Synthetic Diamonds (lab created/man-made diamonds) I dont see them as being a bargain unless you want a fancy colored diamond.
"Blood Diamonds"...if this is a concern for anyone....BUY CANADIAN There are some beautiful stones coming out of Canada; I know that Ben Bridge carries the Ikuma diamonds. Otherwise look for stones inscribed with the Canadamark or the Maple Leaf symbol.
*All Moissanite is synthetic; while it does occur naturally it does not occur in large enough pieces to facet for jewelry pieces.
