I have input the weights I have been given and within the top 5 (which is subject to change as more people send in their weights) there are two instances where the percentage difference is only a few hundreths of a percent.
(Made up example) 1st place lost 7.28% 2nd place lost 7.24%
Do you consider that a tie? Or is 4 hundreths of a percent enough of a diffrence? Is one hundreth of a percent enough of a diffrence?
I can easily consider that a tie, and split the winnings between two people. But I need to know if anyone else thinks that is a tie, or should that be considered first and second place?
I think the higher number wins. It's only a tie if they are both exactly the same.
On one hand I agree, but on the other hand if I was the person who lost by the hundreth of a percent, I would be bummed... Soooo, I thought I would see what everyone's opinions are before they know if it effects them personally .
Although I can see it being harder for the 6th place person. I think if 5th and 6th place are that close, I could see expanding the winners to 6 somehow. But I don't think that, for example, 2nd & 3rd should split winnings if they're that close.

I hear ya, but even if it's me that loses by that small of a margin, I'd be okay with it. :0)
