1 hour car seat nap followed by 45 minutes of quiet but awake time in the crib. This afternoon/evening should be exciting! We are going to a family dance party at the neighborhood association, hopefully that will give us some lazy parenting time and tucker him out.
I think I'm nesting. I woke up finally feeling a little better and in between breaks to sit down because I'm still light-headed, haha, I have done 5 loads of laundry, folded all the baby clothes, stripped all of our bedding to put in the wash, cleaned a bathroom, and done all the dishes and disinfected the kitchen.
Once DD wakes up, I need to organize her dresser and get some other stuff moved into her room.
H has also been warned 3 times that we are at the point I don't want to come home to a disaster if we have to leave in a hurry, so quit leaving shit everywhere. (Realistically, there's at least 2-4 more weeks before we are at that point, since I'm about 36w, but still. Quit leaving socks and dishes everywhere!)
LOL I just had the same conversation with DH! I started rattling off all the things we have to do in the TWO WEEKS before my RCS and his eyes got all wide like this:
So I told him he cannot lose another day doing things for other people. I need him. He can't spend a day puttering around on house projects, running errands for his grandmother, or being tech support for my parents. NO. It is TIME to get ready for baby!
