Mine are: 1. Pay off 1/3 of my credit card balance (on track for payoff by June). 2. Have a baby!! (And to make it MM, update our wills and life insurance beneficiaries).
I actually did really well sticking to my budget in February, so I'm hoping to continue that in March. Basically a spending freeze with some allowance for fun (there is no way I'm going to go a whole month without ordering takeout a time or two and getting drinks with a friend here and there). But no buying "stuff".
I have a job interview on Thursday and I'm trying to be really well prepared. So, maybe getting a job will be on the list.
BF and I are going on a road trip to a wedding in 3 weeks, so I'm hoping we have a blast while staying MM. I think we should be fine on that, gas is reasonable right now and we've already paid for the airBNB places we're staying so it's basically just food and entertainment expenses to worry about. We're not fancy so I expect we will be able to do a lot without spending a ton.
Our big plans are getting moved into our house and trying not to break the bank with new "shiny things" that we need. And, since my closet is like 1/8th the size of my current closet, I am going to try to organize my clothes somewhat this month.
my biggest priority is to continue working on my mental health. I started 50mg zoloft for anxiety last week. while I know it takes many weeks before I'll feel the full effect, I already feel like a weight has been lifted. having a treatment plan makes me feel much more in control.
I've cleaned up my diet and have been exercising regularly. It's has helped me feel more balanced and has jump started some weight loss. I'm down to 144lbs, which finally puts my BMI back in the normal range. I know BMI is bullshit but that does feel good to cross that superficial threshold. I'd like to keep going with this.
we have lots of wedding stuff to get done this month... including learning how to dance. first lessons are this afternoon!

I don't know if I'm remembering correctly, but are you going to NOLA?
1. Pay off one of my SLs (Down to about a $350 balance on that one!) 2. Finish house projects (put up last two doors and all trim) 3. Get house up on the market!
Enjoy an awesome Florida vacation with my family and parents next week!! I just checked the weather...all 80 degree days. Sign.me.up.
When we get home, we are getting a new primary doctor, so not fun. Mr. P has some business travel..not sure if I will/can go or not. Get my house straightened up (filing of paperwork from our personal taxes and FIL paperwork from the last 8 months). Wait to see if I missed anything on his or our taxes that were sent to the accountants. Continue to deal with stuff for his estate.
Finish editing my NANOWRIMO novel and get some beta readers.
Get our business and personal taxes filed. I joke this is the only time I ever see H cry.
H gets a set of stock options vested this month. I got 2 new projects assigned to me this week, in addition to the existing 3, so I'm trying to make headway on those.
I have ever changing fitness goals, but yesterday I was able to do some handstand walking with a spot, so I'm excited to work on that more.
I just broke my closet (I used mine and the office closet, but the office is now the baby's room and I had to consolidate, and I overloaded the shelf). The bolts on either side just ripped right out of the wall. My new goal is to pare down my clothing. Is it bad that the method I want to use is to donate every single item in there and build a new wardrobe from scratch? This is why I still have a credit card balance!

Yes we are! With overnight stops on Memphis/St Louis along the way. We'll be in NOLA for 2 nights!
March is always a very busy month for us. We have numerous family birthdays (both immediate and extended family members), anniversaries, acro meets several weekends of the month, and girl scout cookie booths several weekends. I just want to get through this month with no crises and no illness!
We did a spending freeze in February and really nailed it (even with vacation), so I am hoping to continue that into March. This will include all food below $500 again, and limited fun purchases for all of us.
Still also hoping to get pregnant sometime, soon preferably. I am worried if it doesn't happen soon that we'll stop at one kid.
H is working on a promotion already, so I am going to try and help him in any way I can.
Stay of GBCN and FB, except for Sundays (Lent) Be less of an a-hole generally, but an a-hole husband specifically (also Lent. No cheating on Sundays for this one) Get the kitchen remodel started.
Pom: I'm so excited for you that you're wrapping up your NANO novel. That's awesome!
My March plans:
Polish my resume and get serious about looking for a new job. I need to find a challenging position where there is room for advancement. I'm terrified, though.
Commit to working out. We have a Wellness challenge at work that starts tomorrow and I want to find another class to take (in addition to my Zumba class). I'm hoping to be able to start walking outside, too. This means it's time to update my iPod.
Continue saving money for my conference/vacation to Las Vegas in June. I'm really looking forward to networking and then drinks by my hotel pool.

I'm supposed to have goals?
Besides surviving the month and trying to get more caught up at work, I am trying to make progress on my moving plans. I am planning to move into an apartment in August and sell my house, and I've been making plans on that for over a month now, so at this point it's more along the lines of continuing to get rid of things and research things like moving my utilities. I've made some cash-flow financial decisions depending on how long it takes to sell my house, and cancelled a vacation, so for now the only thing I can do for March is try to reduce spending.
Thank you idahome ! I made it (barely) to the finish line by 11/30, but I keep getting off track with finishing and editing to the point where it's readable for someone else. I need to buckle down.
March is going to be craaaazy as we have friends and family coming in so I feel like I'll only be at work for 2.5 weeks so that's insane on its own.
My goals: -Enjoy my time with friends and family and NOT stress about work (HA!) -Meet with a realtor to start the buying process -Be nicer to DH, we've had a rough year and I'm hoping it'll get better. -Save money for a down payment but not stress about money.
