And I'm not sure what I'm looking for exactly but just need to get it out since we haven't shared this with people IRL yet. I found out tonight that they found an abnormal reading on my moms mammogram two weeks ago. On Friday, they brought her in for testing where they found a tumor in her left breast. They've done a biopsy and we find out tomorrow if it's cancerous.
It's surreal to think about a receiving a call that could turn out lives upside down. They didn't want us to worry so they fill my brothers and I in tonight. I can't stop crying, or shaking or thinking about how awful I feel that my relationship with my mom the last few months hasn't been great for a lot of reasons.
Sorry I'm rambling... If you could spare a prayer for my family, Id appreciate it.
Lot's of prayers for you and your mom. No amount of worry or stress will change the results so be kind to yourself and try not to dwell on negative thoughts. If the results don't turn out the way you hope, there's always a next step. One day at a time. Gringachef is right too, please reach out for support! So many of us have been through similar situations and can offer support and advice and even just having someone to listen is comforting.
There's no right way to feel about family stuff, so you dowhatever you need to do. Vent here, let us cheer you up, whatever! Sending you and your family good thoughts!

t&p to you and your family, and big hugs. it is scary. hopefully you'll get the news you're hoping for, but if it's not, just know that breast cancer treatment has come a LONG way. my MIL has beat breast cancer twice.
Hi everyone. I'm so touched by the outpouring of love and support from you all. I truly appreciate it.
We learned the the Tumor is malignant. The cancer she has is called Lobular Carcinoma. She goes in on Wednesday for another visit with the doc to determine plan of attack. But the doctor said that surgery to remove and radiation will likely be next steps.
Keep us in your prayers as we face this new journey in our family's life.
Thanks again for all the hugs and support. It's appreciated.
