I know this isn't what you want to hear, but if it's teething, no amount of sleep training is going to help. Tylenol, and maybe some soft teethers in her crib might help. I feel your pain. My DD was the WORST sleeper! We would sleep train, and it would work great for a month or so, then just go to shit suddenly. We realized it was when she would start teething the next group of teeth (She always had 4 come in at a time). I hope it gets better soon!

I agree. CIO doesn't work if they need something. We did Ferber around 7 months but if he was in pain or going through something he didn't sleep. I found Motrin worked better than Tylenol and you should be able to use that at 6 months (check with your ped). When he was teething I would give him that right before bed. Teething seems to hurt some more than others. I knew some people who barely noticed a tooth was coming but my son was in absolute agony. And he also got several at a time.
I felt extreme guilt over ferbering. DH and I sucked down a bottle of wine doing it for the first few nights. It worked though! I won't say it's for everyone, but despite the guilty feelings I will do it again this time.
I smoked cigarettes on the back porch during CIO. It was the first cigarette I had had in over 2 years and good lord I needed it.

6 month sleep fucking sucked. We just came out of it, and it sucked hard. We ended up sleeping on the couch with him for weeks taking turns. I think I posted here asking for advice b/c I was about to lose it. I will tell you, something just clicked one night and he started sleeping in his crib again, not waking up within minutes of being put down, or every hour. So, it does get better.
