About to head to the gym. I try not to turn on too many lights so I don't wake the others up. This morning I put on my shoes and thought, "huh, usually the left insole of this one feels different". Turn on the light and sure enough I have on two different shoes. Glad I realized before I got to the gym!
Working from home today so I can finally catch up on some laundry. Then mom's night out tonight.
@uwhuskygirl you're going to need to let us know how that goes.
It's wednesday. I have lunch plans with a coworker and a former coworker which will be a nice break from all the training I'm leading this week. Spin class and more work tonight.
Morning! I've also been a bit MIA thanks to work slowly sucking the life out of me and turning me in to an alcoholic. The good news is two students have in school suspension (for different reasons) so my room was quiet and no one threw anything at me for once. One comes back today but he doesn't normally throw things at me so it shouldn't be too bad.

I thought it was odd that I started the thread. @uwhuskygirl - definitely update us on how that goes. We got a soda stream for Christmas and H is less than impressed. I think if we could run alcohol through it he would feel much differently.
Good morning! H and I went out for dinner last night, since both of us had meh work days. I had the nomm-y-est beer there. If you like stouts and cream soda, you will love High Water's Campfire Stout. It doesn't taste alcoholic, more like a mesh of rootbeer and cream soda.
There is some tension between H and I about our morning routine with my new job. Neither one of us thinks the other is compromising enough. I think he's a lazy turd and takes too long to get out of bed, and relies too much on the old routine (of almost six YEARS) when I had a sucky commute and had to leave the house 30+ minutes before he did, even though I didn't start work until an hour after he did. I still start work an hour after he does, but he has to leave home 30+ minutes before I do. A lot of the tension is about splitting up bathroom time in our ONE tiny bathroom. I cannot wait for the day when we have more than one bathroom, it will be a glorious day.
Last class last night was kind of pointless, other than the interesting anecdote when the teacher mentioned he photographed the Sounders for a year. At least it was only an hour so then I could head to BelleSquare to get this wild garlic dried herb mix from Oil & Vinegar (and some vinegar for MIL) and hit the Nespresso Cafe to stock up as we were out of some stuff. Then I meandered a bit through Macy's and Anthro since most of my recent trips there had H in tow and he gets grumpy about my pointless browsing
PT today, going to ask if I should maybe drop to once a week. Trying to figure out how to balance getting better as quickly as possible and finances. Ivan kitty is so-so, he camped out on his Dad's lap last night. This morning he seemed a bit perkier but the one eye is a little crusty and still red on the lid and now I noticed a small sore above the other eye that's probably from him scratching! I tried to get him to sleep with me again last night but he left, so I guess that won't work to pamper him.
I didn't get home last night until almost 7. Boo. Dinner was a bowl of Special K for me and canned chili for J. I did get my new alarm clock last night. I just need to find AAA batteries so I can set it up. Hoping that helps get my butt out of bed in the morning.
I'm going to try to get my nails done on lunch. I'm thinking something St Patricksy.
I got out and wrestled with the back yard for a little bit before M started acting out and needed some solo time. We are thinking of expanding the garden a bit to keep some of the things that suck the nutrients from other plants separate so that involved the removal of a bit of weed mat. I feel like it was a good fill in for my normal work out. Now i'm ealing with a whiny J and M who is in full dramatics today. I'm not sure coffee is going to be enough to get me through.
I was up at 5 for a 5:45 body works class... thank god I had a friend meeting me or I would've gone back to bed. I feel like it should be the middle of the afternoon now though - I guess that's what happens when you wake up 2+ hours later than usual.
came into work for a meeting, now heading home to get some work done without interruptions and then headed to IL's for dinner. so nice to not have to cook tonight!

We leave tomorrow for Disneyland. Tman is at school, probably screwing the pooch because he's too distracted. I hope he's not, but I can't bust his chops if he is. Not to mention, it's such a nice day. I remember being in elementary school in Spring and just staring out the window at the sunshine.
I am cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, and working, working, working. I have: gone shopping, cleaned all the floors, I'm on my 4th load of laundry (including all the bedding), I almost have a bathroom cleaned, the kitchen is clean, I've done some dusting, AND I have logged 3.5 hours of work today. I'm on a ROLL! But, I'm starting to get tired.
My mom should be here pretty soon. She'll stay overnight and then take the dogs home with her. I'm grateful that they are willing to take these pups.
