Does anyone's lip do this in winter?

So I get this big red spot right above my lips that almost looks like a rash all.winter.long. I've tried every Chapstick on the market, I've tried various dry skin creams, I drink a ton of water but no dice. Has anyone gotten this and if so how did you get rid of it?

Yes I had it recently. Even Before being sick & having to Use tissues a lot. Somehow it got better without me doing anything except being sure to keep chapstick on it. I was going to try aquaphor next - have you tried it?

Yes. I literally have it nonstop from December on. It doesn't seem to be related to colds/runny nose.

Yea, my kids get it from biting or licking their lips. DD2, especially, b/c she'll suck on it. I did it as a kid, too. That's what it looks like on them. Maybe you do something subconsciously when you are thinking?

My son gets it too when he's has a cold or his lips are chapped and dry. No cold/allergies and my lips aren't the slightest bit chapped.

I sometimes bite my lip when deep in thought but never the top only the bottom. I never get it under my bottom lip. It's a mystery!

I was gonna say your mouth here looks nothing like your avatar. Then I looked again and realized your avatar mouth was painted.

Try aloe Vera. It works for my husband and Bonus is it tastes like shit so if you are unconsciously licking it, you'll stop.

Lol! Aloe is something I never tried. Will give it a shot.

You were in the private group on the bump right? I posted pictures there though like a million years ago. Im Italian looking with big eyes and a big nose. Lol.

I second the aloe, and if that doesn't work, get a Vitamin E stick. That will work.

Do you drink out of water bottles a lot? It almost looks like the perfect spot to get red from the suction on a water bottle. If that makes any sense at all
