I haven't heard that sound in my kids. I feel worried about this in combination the bad rash. I'm sorry Tamb, I'd be taking her to see someone.
Does she still have a fever? Does she have other symptoms, like cold like symptoms? Is the rash still on her palms and soles?
As far as I understand, the roseola rash is "benign" in that it doesn't itch or hurt at all, it's just cosmetic, and it typically comes following a high fever and other cold like symptoms. If this rash is bothering her I'd be worried about a misdiagnosis.
I'm sorry she's so sick . It's so hard and awful when babies are sick. I hope this is all over soon.
I'm sorry she's still sick I feel the same way about the nights and getting anxious when they are sick. Lillian has a high fever and it's making me nervous. Why does this shit happen at night?!
Ugh I'm so sorry. The noise alone Wouldnt freak me out wiliam makes some crazy sleep noises sometimes and when he's sick he can be very loud/wheezy/raspy/snorty. but the combo of everything is definitely unnerving I hope she's better in the morning. Poor E and poor you!
So thankful for angelcare monitors!!! At least you may have some chance of sleeping because of the monitor.
I'm so sorry for you and E! That noise sounded scary but I'm glad repositioning helped. DD hasn't made that specific noise before but others (especially after crying), have had me hovering over the monitor too. Do you have a Children's Hospital with an ER at any reasonable distance? Keep pushing for answers or another trustworthy opinion, trust your gut (during the daytime, for sure!)
I just went in to adjust the monitor b/c I couldn't see her anymore, and she definitely sounds congested, which she didn't before tonight .FUCK. Joanna sounds congested too. I hope this isn't a different cold on top of the one that caused the rash.
Shit! Like you haven't been worried enough. Do you have a humidifier?Maybe that will help her with the congestion. I'm sorry that she's having such a rough week, hope you all can get some rest.

Oh I didn't even think of that! I'm so used to winter meaning super dry air inside that I forgot you lived where the sun actually shines and snow doesn't exist.
Putting Vick's on the feet and chest also helps my kids.

I hope the congestion isn't a sign of anything . If it makes you feel better, both my girls have had stuffy/runny noses for probably 6+ weeks and they aren't actually sick, it's just typical winter stuff. (Although maybe that doesn't happen in Florida?)
