Oh I am so sorry. My niece had to have a blood transfusion for the same reason and she is perfectly sassy and healthy! I hope his levels start to go down soon.

Thank you for posting this. it gives me some reassurance. Blake had to have 1 IVIG, but nothing further and although it was 3 yrs ago, I don't remember it being quite so up and down with him.
Thank you so much ladies. You are making me cry again . The up and down is just killing me. Now I'm at home and feel so far away. I considered driving down again but I can't hold him or anything anyway so I'd just be doing the same thing I'm doing here.... He's at OSU. I have no doubt they are doing everything they can. I can't even put into words what I'm feeling. I did some googling (yes I know not always a great idea) on the exchange and feel a little better about it. Obviously, I will talk to the dr about it too when I call next if it's needed. I feel so bad for my sweet helpless boy that he's being put through all this. I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate it.
Can I bring you some cookies or buckeye donuts?
You are too sweet! Although I just entered the WLC to get my mind off this a little and to help drop some of this postpartum weight, so cookies and doughnuts probably wouldn't be a great idea .
Truly, just knowing you are all thinking and praying for my sweet boy gives me comfort.
i am not posting anything on fb as I just feel like I should, so knowing you all understand helps.
If you happen to be at the hospital and decide you just want someone to sit with you or take you out for dinner, give me a call (I'll PM you my number). I remember how lonely the NICU could be.
And, for what it's worth, Abby had at least 12 transfusions when she was in the hospital. Unfortunately, sometimes our babies just don't want to go the easy route.
Praying for you guys! I hope his levels start to come down and he can go home soon. My heart breaks for you knowing how it is having a baby in the nicu.

Continuing to send good thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry this is such a roller coaster and you can't take your baby home yet. Please keep updating and don't apologize.
Sending huge hugs and positive thoughts to you and your little one. We are always here with no need to apologize. I hope you can bring him home very soon.
