I was never much of a jewelry person but I've been trying to accessorize more and wear more jewelry. I was just wondering how people store bigger bulkier jewelry (necklaces to be specific)?
Right now I just have them on individual hangers in my closet but I'm really looking for a better system.

Something as simple as the key holders might just do the trick. Thanks Mav. I'm really torn, if I don't have things visible they definitely get forgotten but at the same time I don't want to see them all the time. I could probably do the hooks inside my closet so I see them when I get dressed but they're not visible the rest of the time.
I like that the first one has a place for earrings, though.
I have the first one linked. Someone else on here got it & I got it after her. It works really well to hold everything. You can put a good 3-4 large necklaces on each rung, especially the ones on the bottom. The majority of my necklaces & bracelets are on there. I have another earring holder & am too lazy to transfer. I have a few special necklaces that are displayed on my armoire.
I have bars from Ikea. They are meant to go in the kitchen and have hooks hanging from them. I have 4 in my closet and store my necklaces hanging from them. The necklaces don't overlap do you can see everything you have.

Thanks for all the great suggestions!
I love the one that mrssavvy and godawgs linked but I think I'll wait until my collection gets a little better before splurging on something like that.
I hung a couple of towel rods behind my closet door. I then used shower hooks to hang my necklaces and belts/scarves. Works great! Got the idea off pinterest.
