Good morning!
I'm so proud of Lucy. We found out yesterday that one of her teammates wasn't coming to competition? And had to make changes in an hour and a half. And BOY did my baby step up.
(For the Cheer moms) SHE FLEW WITHOUT A FRONT, guys. She doesn't like flying anymore but she did it bc her team needed her.
Guys. This is the team that's in 1-3 grade. They went with the flow and were so flexible all day. Lucy can watch YouTube (safe search on, ombligo) ALL DAY for all I care. I got her frozen yogurt for dinner last night hahaha.
And today? No practice! Practice is overrrr! I'm so happy, we survived our first year as three teams. And proud, they did so well.
Morning! I'm super sore today -- not sure if it's yesterday's strength class or carrying my 40+ pound 4-year old halfway 'round the world at Epcot. (I'm never leaving her stroller at home again.)
Chilling on the couch with coffee ATM. I need to do some straightening, then it's off to barre in a couple hours. We're meeting a couple friends for lunch this afternoon and I've got rehearsal tonight.

Maybe Kristen would fly if I let her YouTube??
That is AWESOME, to prof and Luce.
I cleaned my house yesterday (for the company) and it's actually still clean this morning! I've been awake since 4. I think I've got a fevah, and the only cure is running around, opening windows and singing For The First Time In Forever cuz it's ABOVE FREEZING FOR THE SECOND DAY IN A ROW, HOLY SHIT, JIZZBALLS, SPRING MIGHT BE COMING.
"You. You and your crazy life. You and your geographic anomaly. You and your drunken lesbianic ways and terrible navigational skills." - ProfArt and her holy baby
I need to tidy up the house for the tiling contractors and my cleaning lady, both of whom are going to be here by 8:30 tomorrow. So much for sleeping in over Spring Break. Then there's the usual grocery store and random errands to run. I think we might make cupcakes later this afternoon and do a puzzle or board game night if the boys cooperate with cleaning their rooms.
Last night we went to dinner and when we came back out to the car, there was a mini van parked so close to my drivers side I couldn't walk between the cars, and it was crooked in the spot. I had to crawl through the passenger side, which is awesome when you have a severe arthritis-like condition.
So I channeled my inner @misoangry and left a note on their windshield that said "You park like an asshole. Thanks for making me crawl through the passenger side of my car."
I've made out like a bandit with house stuff this weekend. We went to Homegoods Friday, and I got an Easter plate and wood Easter sign for $11. Then I went to an estate sale yesterday- I got a Christmas picture, adorable ceramic bird lamp, and a stone bird with white flowers painted on for $34, and then I went to an antique store last night and got a farm picture, another little Easter sign, and a sign for a project I'm working on for $21.
I'm so excited to put up my spring/Easter stuff today.
I think it's the day for a come to jesus with dh on weekend routines post-baby. He tends to be like "awesome! Weekend! I can do xyz!" And while it's either stuff for his side business or for us (like our taxes), he needs to make a smaller list and add more childcare. Lol. I'm starting to feel like the default parent on weekends, and that ain't gonna fly.
So my plans are to actually get shit done around the house.
I'm going to make breakfast and then the whole family is going to the park. DH is taking DS on his balance bike and I'm taking the dog for an epic walk. He needs it bad, he's so irritating and just whines all the time. I hope SDs go with DH. I want the alone time.

We had a late night at a school fundraiser last night so I'm dragging today. Still lounging in bed with coffee watching parenthood on netflix. Barre class is at noon today and then I have 102 errands to run, none of which I feel like doing
We are heading to a St . Patrick's Day Parade. I don't really feel like going but I am in charge so I have to go. Then, I have to stop in at work (a hour out of the way) to give Injections. I just want to sit home and drink coffee
Already did my long run! 14 miles and a gorgeous morning here. My favorite kind of morning :-)
Doing laundry now while enjoying coffee
Then errands, change the sheets, maybe cleaning and then later in laws will be back with h (I came back from h's race weekend early thank god) and we will grill out
All I care about right now is no in laws here right now. It's do peaceful in my house lol
Prepping meals and hopefully doing some quilting again (took a month off bc I got annoyed at a pattern). Maybe going biking to find some more geocaches with the kids. Most importantly, putting my doggie in the bike basket if we do go geocaching - she looks so cute!
We have a pretty low key day planned. Laundry, Netflix, booking excursions for our cruise. I really want to get food from my favorite Lebanese restaurant delivered but DH doesn't normally like it and there is a minimum amount before they will deliver. I'm trying to convince him he wants it for dinner too.
I've been solo for bedtime the past three nights because H was at the HS hockey tournament. I am off. The. Clock. Tonight
Today, I'm meeting a friend for early HH at 4 and just decided that I will probably leave home after lunch and go shipping at the fun boutiques to find a birthday gift for a friend. And it's warm here!
"Why would you ruin perfectly good peanuts by adding candy corn? That's like saying hey, I have these awesome nachos, guess I better add some dryer lint." - Nonny
I'm feeling good about myself. I went to morning purebarre two days in a row. It's so gorgeous out, we're going to go for a walk after DH comes back with breakfast.
We are going outside! *twirls* We are meeting friends at a park in about an hour, then we might hit the Restoration Hardware outlet before going to my parents' house for dinner.
