I'll start this off this am with an AW. I have a client meeting today so I pulled out the suit pants I bought 6 mo ago for my last client meeting. In September I wore them with Spanx and could barely get them zipped. Today. No spanx and they zipped no problem!!! So even tho the scale doesn't say so, squeezing in a few gym trips is helping!!
And a huge thank you to farmvillelover and @callmefia. its amazing that the women in this community are willing to reach out and help Internet strangers who they know only sort of through some posts. I appreciate the clothes and the help more than you know!!
DS has been up since 3:15. I am exhausted. We just got over sickness and now molars. Joy. And my Russian friend wants to go hang out at the Walmart. More Joy.
I'm attempting to salvage this day. The kids go to DC in T-minus 1.5 hours. I'm going to help H for a bit then taking a long nap. While I drop Russian off at the Walmart I'm going to the nice pedicure place. I might get my oil changed too.....because Silence!
Screw the big spring cleaning plans I had for today.
I'm in a very bad mood. Probably has something to do with being awake since 4:20 old time, and listening to ds2 making kicked puppy noises anytime I set him down.
My child is sleeping. It's 720. She wakes up at 630 or earlier most days. It's the time change and she is exhausted but I have an appt so I woke up early and didn't get to take advantage of likely the only day all year she has slept late. (730 is late - sad) and we will have to rush around to get ready for preschool. My kid doesn't rush.
@justdairy when you said your kids were going to DC I thought you meant Washington and I was confused why they seemed to be going on their own - then it clicked.
As if this cold isn't bad enough yesterday when I woke up I was a bit itchy. By last night I had a few hives. This morning I look like I was attacked. My hands itch, I've got huge hives in spots, and my throat is swollen.
Waiting for the doc to open so I can get in ASAP. The Benadryl I took hasn't done much.
Shit. I'm guessing it was the detergent the hotel uses on their linens.
Today is cruise day!!!!! So excited for warm weather and time with my awesome extended family.
We're still dropping J off at his 2 hour long preschool program so that we can clean the apt while he's out. We hired a cat sitter and I didn't want her to be horrified at what a mess it is living with a toddler in a one bedroom. We leave right after we pick up J, so he won't haves chance to mess it up again.
See you all in 9 days, unless I cave and pay for wifi! Let me know what drama I've missed!
I have play date at my house today with a few friends and their kids. We do it every Monday and I'm excited to see my friends.
DD slept thru the night last night but my boobs are aching as a result! I'm trying to avoid pumping cause I want my body to adjust - I can very easily have an oversupply.
Last night L went to bed at his normal time then woke up 1.5 hrs later and stayed up "partying" for 2 hours. Thankfully he wasn't upset when I had to wake him up this morning.
The baby slept for 8 hours straight!! One wake up and slept for 3 more hours. I feel amazing.
Saturday we got DS1 a big boy bed. I wasn't expecting him to sleep in it yet, but he really wanted to so we agreed. He's done SO well. He hasn't fallen out and he's stayed in the bed all night. He's been reading in his bed, just like he did with his crib.
I'm so proud of him. I'm so proud of both of them. Hope this means a good week!

It's about that time of the morning hanny...about that time of the morning.
What a terrible night and morning. My mom forgot DS's pillow at her house, so it took me over an hour to get him down for a nap and bedtime yesterday. He woke at 4am too which is very unusual. Since DH's sleep got interrupted, he snored like a freight train from 4-6 when his alarm went off.
UGHHHH this is not how DST is supposed to work. DS is not supposed to go to bed an hour late, then still wake up at the same time (7am). He also just accidentally knocked my full quart of ice water into the train tracks box. What a huge mess. Cleaning it up on my knees. And I have to take him for a blood draw in a few hours. Blah.
So tired. DD woke at 12:15. She hasn't gotten up that early in a long time. I rocked her back to sleep in the recliner and we both slept till 230 when I woke and decided to just get up and feed.
I need a do over. DS woke up at 5:30a (good for him) but was a clingy, fussy mess. I finally calmed him down with sing a long songs (on my phone) and yogurt but he lost it when I tried to leave. He insisted on bringing elmo to daycare (a recipe for disaster) and cried most of the way there and when I left. I didn't have time to make lunch and forgot my breakfast and snack at home. I hit a ton of traffic. At least I have my tea.
M went to the potty on his own without being asked to yesterday. He then used the potty with reminders all day. I am sending him to school in underwear, because he is excited and I want to build on that momentum.
DS keeps waking up an hour after going to bed and it seems like nothing we do will calm him down and get him back to sleep as he is wide awake. It took almost 2 hours to get him back down and even then we could only get him to sleep in his swing.
I don't know what to do, we're not going in right away when he cries, we wait a little bit. But he seems to escalate and DD is in the room too so I feel bad that she's being kept up with his nonsense. We've tried to soothe him in the nursery but he gets loud so we bring him out to the living room and I feel like that just wakes him up more, uggh.
The combo of DST and teething is doing wonders for my sleep. UGH. Yesterday DS wouldn't nap more than 20 minutes (which he did like 4x), then went to bed late, and was up every 2 hours overnight. I'm really hoping we can both get a good nap in today. The good news is it's supposed to be mid-50s today so I think we'll try to go for a walk around the neighborhood.
I think DD was sleepwalking last night. I ended up sleeping in her bed with her. A twin bed full of dolls and a toddler who tosses and turns constantly plus me at 30 weeks pregnant means that I slept poorly, to say the least. Then she royally freaked out this morning, and I have no idea what was wrong. Today is off to an awesome start.
DS2 was up screaming from 2:30-5:15. I was going to go into the office but chose to sleep in and work from home. Then he started screaming again from 6:15-7. I'm use to him being a crappy sleeper but this takes it to a whole different level.
Luckily DS1 was oblivious to all of the screaming happening in the room next door.

And of course, the day I couldn't appreciate it, A slept in until 7:00, and probably would have slept until 6:30 had I not nursed her. I'm totally going to talk to my boss about leaving early since I came in early.
I'm paid hourly and we need justification for overtime.
Someone used my desk at work this weekend and it is really pissing me off. They broke something off my keyboard and plugged it in to my docking station in a weird place. WTF, dude.
DST caused me not to shower this morning and barely get my kid out the door. Losing that hour hurts.
