Anybody has experience with herbalife?

I never had an annoying FB friend until now but this girl posts two pics of her every day with her herbalife shake and then a million hashtags about it. Is this something popular now? Is it to lose weigh?. She is pregnant so are they even safe to drink? I wonder if they tasty because she is always posting about flavors like dulce de leche or chocolate chip cookie dough.

Not herbalife, but a friend of mine sells Isagenix and is pretty annoying about it.

I think theyre all shakes/supplements of some sort.

My mom used to sell Herbalife in the 90's. Lol! She used to have a pin that said Lose Weight Now, Ask Me How. Ha! Anyway, its definitely shakes and supplements to lose weight. I recently saw a commercial on tv, it seems like they are trying to revamp their brand. The shakes may be ok while pregnant, since I know some people drink protein shakes while pregnant.

MLM = multi-level marketing, aka pyramid schemes

After the post the other day about Rodan and Fields, I googled MLM's, and Herballife came up a bunch as one of the worst. I believe there were several lawsuits filed against them for their shady recruiting practices.

Also, if it's a weight loss shake (I have no idea if it actually is), I totally judge her for using them while pregnant. WTF?

My mom doesn't sell it, but she used to drink them all the time. She actually made some really tasty concoctions that tasted like a dessert shake. A family member does it with a million and one hashtags everywhere.
