We did get an IEP for kid 2!

Kid 2 is just not succeeding in a classroom setting. He's definitely delayed and we've been working with his teacher about what to do. She wanted to cut him back to a half day which we did not want. So we all agreed to try to get him an IEP. We had the meeting today. He qualifies for OT, PT, and counseling once a week. I'm so relieved that something is going to be done and that it will follow him for at least 3 years.

That's great news! Good work getting him the help he needs, and getting it early. I'm sure that will help a lot more than less help/school.

SO glad you were able to get him the support he needs. My daughter gets OT and PT and both have helped her a lot.

That sucks the school didn't help you. The entire meeting I was a nervous wreck that they'd say he didn't meet criteria.
