And do you like it? I currently have a dark grey metallic with black interior. My lease is up (tomorrow!) and I'm either buying it out or buying another car. The one in looking st is white with tan interior. I'm wondering if it will actually be cooler than the black in our hotter-than-hell summers.
White and I love it! So much cooler. At the dealer the guy had us touch a white car and a light, light silver green/" car in the heat of the day and the difference was substantial.
Black interior and exterior. It is my personal preference, but we climate isn't hot a majority of the time. I just love the look of black cars and the black interior is great for hiding what I don't want to see.

Dark grey with tan interior. Not a color I would necessarily have chosen, but it was the only base model available and toyota gave us a really good price since it was the last 2014 in stock. Hs car is dark blue.
I haven't noticed my mother's white car being any cooler than our dark cars.
I have dark grey and black leather now. My last car was white with tan leather. I lived in South Florida and honestly the white and tan didn't do all that much to help when it was 100 degrees in the car when you went to get into it. I will say that my denim and dark materials would stain the tan leather so I went with dark in this new SUV.

My car is silver with black interior and DHs truck is black with black. I truthfully can't tell a difference if his truck is hotter. I personally like black, which is what my next one will be. The only thing I like about white vehicles is that they don't show dirt easily.
Gray metallic with black interior. I like the black interior especially with DS climbing in the car and having food etc. I had silver before and prefer it - not so much the heat issue, but it hid dirt and spots better.
Our car is the ugliest shade of gold known to man with beige interior. Our truck is silver with gray interior. I prefer silver/gray and we live in the desert where everything is hot in the summer.
I used to have black with an interior, I miss it so much. I now have the exact same car in silver with grey interior. It's very hot here a majority of the year and I don't mind (southeast). Tinted windows are a must.
Black/black and white/black. When we were shopping for the white one last summer we were actually looking for white/tan but there weren't any available. I think I actually prefer the black interior now, though; I don't notice any temperature difference.
My last car was a dark gray with black interior. This one is white with light gray interior. The dirt shows so much faster. I would love my next car to be gray again.

Yes, melew! The dark interior is awesome camouflage for kid messes. Both our cars are dark gray. Mine has black leather interior and DH's is dark gray fabric. I wouldn't think interior color would matter as far as keeping car cool - the heat will still build in the car, right?

I had DH take the seats out this weekend so I could clean the backseat because we switched DD2 to FF (sniff, sniff) and the Mum Mum dust under DD2's seat on the leather was epic. I don't even want to know what I can't see. I will just take a damp cloth to the seats and move on with my life.
Mine is silver with dark gray interior. Previously we had a burgundy SUV with tan interior. I don't remember noticing a difference in how hit the car gets.
Mine is white with a dark charcoal interior. Love it! My car before it was silver with a dark charcoal interior. Dark interior is my top pick always looks clean and holds up well'
Mine is white with black leather interior. I don't love the white but at the time we needed a car NOW and this van had everything that I wanted so I will live with the color
Mine is bright red with black interior (I LOVE it). I've had other color cars in other colors and haven't noticed the heat difference & I live in TX so the summers are pretty hot. I've also had a car with a darker beige interior when DD was a little younger. I DO NOT recommend that. I try to keep the interior pretty clean but having a black interior is so much better.
Both of our cars have tan leather interior and we love it. We had black leather before and I'm so glad we made the change to tan.
What makes you like it more? I ended up going with the tan leather. I'm hoping it won't scald my legs on the way back from the pool, lol.
The heat is a major factor. Walking back from the beach on a daily basis and burning my thighs was not fun. I also just like the look of it better - more sumptuous or something.
I have three messy kids and have never noticed a difference with keeping it clean. Not that I clean it often!
