I hate to do this, but here goes.
As most of you probably know, I run a very small nonprofit called Through the Heart that provides support & education regarding pregnancy loss. My husband and I started TTH almost 2 years ago after we lost our daughter at 20 weeks. We felt alone, didn't have a local group to turn to, and we didn't want anyone else to feel that way. In the time since we've grown a small community that has helped others navigate through this difficult time.
Our main program is our Comfort Kit program which has now reached grieving parents in 33 states (including several GBCNers)! Unfortunately, we've run out of funding for this program and are faced with having to suspend it. I currently have 7 kit requests I can't fulfill and I expect that number to keep growing. I'm devastated that there are people reaching out for help and I'm not able to provide it to them.
So here comes my plea: Will you consider making a donation to help keep the Comfort Kit program running? Even a few dollars can make the difference between someone getting their kit now, when they need it most, or having to wait weeks or even months to receive it. Experiencing a pregnancy loss can be extremely isolating (as some of you unfortunately know) and these kits let people know they are not alone and connect them with resources to help in their healing.
You can donate online & because we are a 501(c)(3) organization, your gift is tax-deductible. (ETA: I changed the link)
I dont regularly post on this board but saw this post and wanted to comment. I will donate as soon as I get on a regular computer. My sister-in-law has suffered a few miscarriages as well as two pregnancies that were prematurely born passed so I know how this type kit would be a help.

Ok, donation made. Thank you HoneySpider for your work on the organization. While I haven't had a loss myself, I know so many people who have and am glad there is support out there for them.

Thank you! I'm so sorry for your SIL's losses
Thanks! Donation made this morning. Hope it helps!
