I think about a year, possibly longer. She turned 2 in January and we just moved to size 4 recently. I'm guessing she'll be in 4s until she potty trains.

Most kids move quickly through sizes N - 2 (and a few mega babies blow by size 3, too) but it's normal for kids to stay in the bigger sizes for months. My DD was small and for a time I thought she would potty-train out of a size 3 diaper (until I realized she wasn't getting trained before age 3 and she needed a size 4 by then).
A very long time and still going strong. Probably since she was around 6 months old and she's 14 months now. 4s fit a little big, so I might switch soon out of boredom.
DS1 was in them for about 9 months. I just moved DS2 into them (he's 4m) and they're really not very big on him. I don't know that they will last that long for him unless he starts thinning out

DD was in them for a year, and then was in 4 until PT.
DS is in 4s at night, and after we finish this box of 3s, we're just going to use 4s full time. He will have only used four boxes of size three! He's seven months old. Crazy!!
We mostly CD so my sense of time is not entirely accurate, but we only wore size 3 disposables for a few months. My short chubby babies transitioned to size 4 at about 10 months.
DD is 6 months, has been in size 3 for ~2 weeks and I can see her in them maybe until the beginning of summer. I've already begun stocking up on size 4s. She's probably 75% for height and weight (but we will see for sure tomorrow).

Technically DS could still be a size 3, according to the package, but we moved to 4's around 10 months to help avoid blowouts. He'll be 16 months soon, and I see him wearing size 4's for quite some time.

We CD during the day and use disposables at night so that may color my answer (sizing up for leakage) but my DS was in size 4 by 6 months. I'd say he was only in size 3 for 2 months (months 4-6).

We just switched to 4s and could have been in 3s (for daytime) for longer, but I didn't want to buy another box. I would say around 6 months. DD1 was in them for 8 months.
Over a year, around one year old to two years old. We recent switched to 4's and I wish we hadn't. We are having more leaks now because they are too big.
I think she's been in 3s since she was 7 months old, which was a year ago. I don't think we'll need to move up anytime soon. I can still easily touch the tabs together in front, and blowouts are few (thankfully!). Box says they go to 28lbs, and she was not quite 23 at her 18 month appointment last month (not that what they put on the box means much).

I ran out of twos when she was about 2 months then just used threes even though they were too big. She is still in 3s now. I checked the weight recommendations on them the other day and it looks like she will be in 3s for a while. She is 12 months and 18lbs

not long. he trucked right thru all the sizes up to size 5. he's been in 5's for the longest. He's 15 months now (31 pounds) and i will buy 6 next time i buy diapers. he was wearing 5s when he turned one.
