AW: P gained 7 oz last week! He's 8 lb, 7 oz now. We also did a weighed feed and he got 3 oz.
I'm praying for no puke so C can go back to daycare tomorrow. He's been so-so today--no puking, but he's also been kind of lethargic and hasn't eaten much. I am also praying I don't get it--my stomach's felt a little off today, ugh.
AW- I got a job! Dh's boss called me to say congratulations and true to form I said something without thinking- that I was glad because I'm not cut out to be a SAHM. Ha

I threw up 3x today and felt nauseous all day (it took me 5 tries to spell that correctly). If I didn't know better (meaning I haven't had sex since DS was...embarrassingly long time ago) I'd say I was pregnant.

Oh well, I'm a director now - woo hoo!
congratulations but I'm confused. Are you now a peer to your husband? I am not sure how that would play out in the starry house, lol.
Lol. No way. I texted DH in the middle of his meeting with his boss and she insisted on calling me.
DH came home with new phones tonight! We both had upgrades so we got iphone 6. I'm pretty pumped.
We are on week 3 of boycotting daycare naps, but taking great naps on the weekend. Weeknights are rough - this kid is sooo tired by the time she gets home.
So the other day I realized I had a bump on my finger that really hurt, looking at it I figured it was a sliver and that it was just aggravated. I pinched a hole in the skin and tried to get out what I thought might be a sliver (couldn't see much but thought I saw a dark dot…)…nothing comes out…now it is still painful, hard, and I think it might be a wart, even though it doesn't look entirely like any of the warts on dr.googleimages. Sigh. Can I use OTC wart meds while pregnant? I have to figure yes?
My 3 yo unwrapped approximately 3 million cartoon band aids and stuck them all over the bathroom. He's trying to kill me. There was wine poured before DH got home from work.

L fought bedtime so hard tonight and didn't fall asleep until 8:00. I imagine I can attribute this to the time change but I'm not happy about it. I really hope it's not the new normal. I need more time than that to myself in the evenings.
Remember how L puked while we were out for lunch on Friday? Well, the (very new) friend of mine who we were with just posted on FB that her and her kids are all sick. I feel awful! I imagine they got it from him although that seems like a long incubation period from Friday to Monday. L started puking Friday at noon and was done Saturday at 9:00pm. My H started puking at 6:00am on Saturday and was done by about 3:00 the same day. I somehow managed to escape unscathed.

amazingly both kids are in bed already. The one and only good thing about Nods being sick is we won't have to worry about her dealing with the time change for bedtime, since her sleep is all messed up.
Half of my floor at work is out with a stomach bug. I feel a little nauseated, but I can't tell if it's the general third tri nausea that I've been having or something more. UGH.
Molars are trying to kill DS and therefore, me. He cried nearly the entire last hour of daycare even after they gave Tylenol. Then I gave him Motrin at home, but he still spent a fair amount of the evening with his fingers in his mouth saying, 'Ow, ow'. The drool, the snots, the tears.
DD has figured out how to open her door and escape her room. After week 1 in her big bed being a success, she now screams and screams when we try to make her stay in there.
She is currently falling asleep in my bed. I don't even care right now. We'll move her in a little while.
I'm ordering a nightlight on amazon as we speak in case that helps. And door knob covers.

We had such a fun night getting to go outside. Here's to spring sticking around!
However, we did not have an easy bedtime. i think he easily could have stayed awake until 8:30, but I don't want that yet. Maybe later this summer when we are griling out and going on longer walks, but tonight I have some work to do. Go to sleep, please.

We are getting a refund! After last year's tax mess, I'm thrilled! Not huge, but refunds from federal, NY state. We owe to NJ state, but only a little. We come out ahead overall even after paying NJ and the accountant!
He was also really interested in our tax mess last year and is going to review our 2013 taxes.
Bought a Neato from Kohl's today and after Kohl's Cash, ebates and $50 neato visa rebate, its under $300. Ain't nobody got time for daily toddler crumb cleanup.
I need to get my older kid on a different pooping schedule. Lately he needs to go 2 minutes before we leave in the morning and then like 20 minutes after he's in bed.
We went out for a quick dinner tonight and ran into the woman who made our wedding invitations. She was out with her two kids. I haven't seen her in about 4 years so it was fun running into her - turns out we now live close to each other. And of course she was excited to see we now have a son and a baby girl on the way. We loved our wedding invitations and I am still so glad my now husband was like, just get the freaking custom invitations done and stop waffling about it! (I was hesitant to use her purely because of price).
Also, thanks to the Patagonia thread, I bought a ton of sale stuff at Patagonia for DS and future baby girl! I can't resist a great deal!

I pumped in the carpool line waiting to pick up DS after school today. I can't believe I didn't think to do it before! I'm stuck in that line for 10+ min, and have my cover and freestyle with me anyway from work.
P is just over 5 weeks and most of her 0-3 month onesies and sleepers have a few weeks left at best. She's so long!!!
She also gave us her first real social smile today, followed by smiles #2-30. It was so much fun, I loved it.
Last one - I actually blogged today! I took most of the last year off. Link in sig if you care, it's mostly a fitness blog with a healthy dose of sarcasm and Libra-like balance with the rest of life.

People, I have never had a wart before!
Yes you can, although the packaging will say no. The only wary I have ever gotten was when I was pregnant. On my foot, it hurt to walk.

Ugh I just want to actually enjoy going back to work. First week was hellish because I came in and had to clean up a mess, second week my son got sick and it was almost a daily stress of looking for baby sitters. I was hoping this week would be it, but now I feel like absolute shit and DS has passed the plague on to me Make it stop!!
