Sheets once a week. We don't have a flat sheet on our bed because DH hates it so I make sure to do our duvet every two weeks. *Duvet cover every two weeks, down duvet every few months.
Sheets once a week. Duvet/quilt (depending on season) once or twice a month. Or after someone is sick. Or when someone pees on it.
I don't remember the last time I changed the sheets just because it was time. I wash the duvet cover every other time and the down comforter every other month or so.
ETA: I probably change my sheets 2x a week because of pee or spit up. I re read and it sounded like I never washed my sheets.
Right?! And they were totally acting like I'm just way obsessed with cleanliness
Do their sheets not feel gross and weird? There is nothing better than getting into a freshly made bed with clean sheets. Why are they depriving themselves?
My MIL changes her sheets every other day. I wish I had the energy because I totally would just for that feeling.

Basically their argument was they shower every night before bed so their sheets don't get dirty. I shower every night too. But ew, no. That's gross

I have dust mite allergies so can't use a comforter. I use a thin plush blanket, electric blanket underneath for warmth in winter. I wash 1-2 times a week along with sheets/pillowcases in hot water.
I guess I am gross. We definitely don't do it every week. I have never ever changed my sheets that much in my whole life. And the lady who does it every-other-day??? Really??? Wow! With four kids now, and DH making tons of laundry b/c of his job, I can't keep up as it is. We do TONS of laundry--full loads--every week even without trying to get all the bedding in every week also.
You should do an anonymous clicky poll on this one!

Both ours and DS's sheets every other week. Our comforter probably every few months.
I actually think the fact that we all shower/bath before bed is a factor. No dirty feet, hair, etc. going onto the sheets means they don't get dirty as fast.
I sleep in a sweatshirt, sweatpants and socks all winter. That doesn't mean my sheets don't need changing.
nicolewi I agree, laundry is the bane of my existence and some days it seems it could swallow me alive. I am still waiting for the magic trick that gets it done without piling up.
