I want to switch to cloth napkins soon. Anyone have a rec for good daily use cloth napkins? All I have are fancy ones, lol.
The boys demand to use a paper napkin at each meal for the tiniest spec of food that might be on their hand or face. We try to keep baby washcloths handy in the kitchen, but they see the paper napkins on the table and just grab them. It's so wasteful, it huts my inner environmentalist soul.

I have some RE brand ones (I think it stands for room essentials?) from Target. They were super cheap on clearance and are black which I appreciate as they don't show every little stain. They're not fancy or nice by any means, but they do the job and were cheap enough to buy tons so we can use cloth full-time.
I make them (link in sig). I've been using them for almost 4 years now and I feel like we've saved a good deal of money by using them. I stash some in the car and my purse for cleanups on the go, and they're really soft so they're great for using with N too.

I have a few different brands I've picked up on clearance at Dillard's or Macy's. I'm good with about any cotton one - and I like colored ones just for variety. I keep a basket of them on my counter, and we just grab new ones when the current ones get dirty. Like a pp, I also keep one in each vehicle for quick clean ups, especially DS is eating fruit.
I just buy whatever pattern I run across on clearance at Herberger's/Macys. My current ones happen to be Fiesta Ware brand in lime green and I really like how they feel and wash up (and I literally just throw them in the wash. Nothing special).
I had the Target ones before and they were ok but I hated how the edges curled up on them post-wash. They just never looked "Fresh" and "clean" to me as a result, kwim. The shrinkage was out of control as well.
