I change my sheets the same day my library books are due back so I don't forget. I would wash them more often if I had to, but it's just me in there and I'm a pretty clean person.
I do once a week - I have extra sets so I just take off and put a new set on and don't have to wait for a wash cycle. I change pillow cases much more frequently - every few days. I wouldn't think twice with letting DS's go longer but our bed it would be gross. DH sweats sometimes in his sleep and other adult activities that happen in our bed, yes they are getting changed weekly.
I didn't think everyone was lying! I just think there must be more people who weren't replying b/c they didn't change their sheets weekly and didn't want to be the only ones.

I'm also about twice a month. Having a toddler means something is spilled or sprinkled often enough that they get changed at least every other week but I am not changing them weekly.
I do laundry every 2 weeks so that's when I change the sheets unless there is an unexpected spill on it.
You don't do any laundry in the interim? That is fascinating to me.
I'm not a gross person I swear We all have enough underwear, socks, clothing, etc to get us through at least 2 weeks. On occasion I will throw in a load if we run out of something. I don't like feeling like I'm doing laundry all the time. It will usually take me 3-4 days to do all the loads every 2 weeks, about 2-3 loads per day. Now we only have 1 kid so this may change once we add another to the mix, but probably not by much.
I meant that we'd have SO much laundry if I waited 2 weeks. It would be awful. And inevitably someone wants something that's in the dirty clothes as it is.

This is me. I do laundry about every 12-14 days. Sometimes I need to do a wash of towels but otherwise we have enough staples (undies, sheets, undershirts) to make it 2 weeks

yea I'm not the only one! It's a lot all at one time but Id rather do that than do laundry every day.

You know I feel like you guys have it right. Laundry feels so much easier to me if I let it really pile up for at least a week. When I used to do it every other day, it felt endless.
