I can't recall a Disney sequel I liked so my expectations are low. I do like frozen though. I'll be disappointed if it sucks, but not surprised.
I was thinking that but with most of the animated sequels weren't they much later? Like years or even decades like with Cinderella? I think their mindset is different now - all of those sequels were direct to store ways to cash in on merchandising. I was assuming a theatrical release given frozen's success - it's also the same team behind it. They've also been doing well with Movies in general lately, so I'm hopeful.
I find that if they wait a long period of time like Toy Story and Monsters INC. They are pretty good movies. Its when they dont wait they end up sucking ie: pocahontas 2.
Edit: thise are pixar sequels.... i cant think of a good disney one.
sequels are never as good as the first so I'm not expecting better, but DD will be very excited and it looks like we will be taking her to frozen on ice this summer.

yeah thats true. I think i had the little mermaid sequel(s) in my head because they've been on.all.the.time. Also, they sucked.
We will still watch Frozen 2 though because DS loves, loves loves "O'lock" lol.
DH has all 3 Aladdin movies?? So the kids watched Aladdin 3 yesterday? Ouch man. Even as a super Mouseketeer I can say...it.is.terrible.
*hopefully* they take some cues from pixar and turn out a decent sequel...or I worry it'll ruin the whole frozen-awesomeness
Ummmm...what did you have to do to become a super mousekeeter and is this a title I can achieve this weekend since I am sans DH and children? I do want to be somewhat productive. Does it require my getting off the couch?
It's a super secret club with a personal invite from Walt (from the grave) :0)

Dd and I went to Cinderella and one of the previews was from frozen fever. There was a full scene with a song and it was actually pretty cute. I have high hopes
