If you're on WW, how many points do you get a day, and how many pounds are you trying to lose (or % of your body weight)?
Does anyone know the rate of weight loss that WW tries to hit? I'm trying to lose 9 lbs. Previously I had 39 points a day, as I was trying to maintain, and I was breastfeeding at the time. Now that I'm trying to lose weight, and not breastfeeding any longer, I'm only allocated 26 points a day. I'm concerned I'll struggle to feel full!
I have 33 points since I'm still BFing (though not exclusively). In a perfect world I'd like to lose 30 pounds but I'd take getting back to pp weight as a victory - that's 15 pounds.
WW aims for 1-2 pounds lost/week.
I typically divide my flex points equally across the days. It's rare for me to hit 40/day so I have some leftover. Most fruits and veggies are 0 points so I lean on those to make me full.
If I followed the points program I would have 26. I do what's called Simply Filling, and much prefer that. Except for my weekly 49 points I don't count. If it's on "the list" then it's simply filling and is free. I can eat as much as I want until I am satisfied. Not stuffed, but satisfied. I love it. I consistently lose weekly and I don't have to do math or track everytime I eat something.
