I'm enjoying the spring weather but I forgot what a PITA it is to bathe C every night. He gets so grimy and sweaty playing outside!
Teach him to take a shower. I get 20 minutes of my life back that way in the summer. 4 nights out of 7 it's rinse and done but at least the grime is gone..haha.
We are going to my inlaws for dinner tonight. I'm excited actually.
I am missing three packages. FedEx where are you?
My employee told H the other night he wanted to call a meeting with his wife involved but he wouldn't say what about exactly. I made H ask him what about because it sends my anxiety through the roof to not know. Then I was like wait a minute! Who cares! We're the bosses here anyways. He's a nice kid but likes to call "meetings" over how to fill feed pails or something equal stupid. Take 10 seconds tell me what you want and let's get done with it. Turns out he just wants to know where he fits in the long term plan. (Which is fair enough, but just ask. I spend 8 hours a day and lunch with you. Why do I have to waste my Tuesday night on this!)
The FedEx man is here as we speak..YAY.
I picked out at $1300 dollar door for our addition. It sure is pretty but Yikes. The original written in the contract was $300.00 MORE but they couldn't get it so I had to pick a new one...so there's that...haha. We just won't tell H exactly. We're still in the big picture budget.

I think I need a sister wife. DH woke the baby up 15 minutes after putting him to sleep because he was confused when I asked if he could put the baby down and help with dinner.
Doors are surprisingly, ridiculously expensive, @justdairy.
LOL. Apparently. I haven't bought a door in almost 10 years and the ones I do have came standard with the joint. (They're nice but boring and solid).
At least this one is pretty. Long panel of glass, craftsman style so it has the metalwork "grid" arrows and a few different colors of scattered glass. It's sweet as can be! It also looks like a screen door but isn't (So still solid and insulated/warm and doesn't bang one like...haha).
I feel like such an idiot. DD and I were playing at the park with our neighbor and his daughter this afternoon. He and I were pushing the kids on the swings and chatting about plans for the summer. I think I was just really distracted watching the kids, because I said that we were considering skipping an OOT wedding since I would be 30 weeks pregnant. Doh! Mind you, no one knows about this pregnancy yet except my parents. I know that plenty of people have shared the news by this point (almost 11 weeks), but we are definitely the kind of people who wait to reveal until much, much later. I hope I haven't jinxed myself.
Also, I think DH is a little pissed at me for spilling the beans. Ugh.

The Longfellow family has started the 12 trek to my parents' house in Maryland. We left 3 hours later than we planned because DH got stuck at work. We're hoping to make it pretty far into SC before we stop for the night, but we'll see how it goes.
We were way late when reserving a rental car (my car is old and not big enough for all our crap). It's spring break and there wasn't a single minivan in our whole city. So we reserved the only other option to sit 6 (we want to be able to take one car when we're with my parents). So we're in an Expedition. This thing is frigging enormous. We feel like we're as big as the semi trucks -- it's ridiculous.
I work at a huge Fortune 500 company, and even my HR sucks at getting back to people in a timely manner. Meetings to discuss candidates get pushed or something more pressing comes up.
The 2 LittleMe sets I ordered on Amazon arrived today and they are so cute! And the quality is great considering I paid $25/set (1 pair of shorts and 2 shirts)

My birthday is tomorrow, too! I have to say I prefer cake over pie. DH is out of the country, so I have no plans at all. It seems too pathetic to go buy myself a cake.

Man having just one kid in the house is easy! Ds1 is off having a magical night with his grandparents. Ds2 is finally getting over his cold and has been a happy and pleasant person all evening.

Ugh... We had a particularly... potent poop tonight & now I can't stop smelling it. I am pretty sure I didn't get any on me and I've checked a million times and don't see anything. Wtf. Phantom poop.
H and I bought a ton of summer stuff at Carters last weekend for DD. Kohls is having an awesome sale on baby clothes now so I am currently placing several orders to rebuy all the stuff and save a bunch of money. I think I have my receipt, but just in case Carters will let me return without a receipt, right?

Yes but you only get the current price they are selling it for.
I can't wait to find out if #2 is a boy or girl but I have 6 more weeks until my AS At this point I had already known for 2 weeks that L was a boy!
I'm dying too. 5 more weeks! With boys my previous pregnancies I at least had a "guess" at the NT scan (was right both times). But not having any idea is just killing me!

I went to costco today for stuff for dd's baptism. Now the only things that sound good to eat are the cheesecake, muffins, and croissants that I can't open. Torture! DH got called for jury duty today and has to report back Monday. I hope he doesn't get stuck on a super long trial.
Back from my anatomy scan today which I tried to cancel due to lingering stomach virus. They made me go in to check on the baby and said it was the best thing.
We found out it's a GIRL. I cried in the room. I felt like such crap and hadn't eaten in three days but that immediately made my mood better. I couldn't even celebrate when I got home. I went straight back to bed.
