Fever 4 days after shots? (4 months old)

DS got one 3 days after his 12-mo shots. I blamed the vaccines, but he got more miserable and ended up having an ear infection. For now, I'd just keep an eye on it and chalk it up to the shots. Hope he feels better!

I think it definitely could be from the shot; for some reason 3-5 days is coming to mind. Glad it went away though!

It's probably a coincidence, although it is within the realm of possibility though. Hope he's feeling better soon.

Didn't the doctor office give you a paper describing the shots and listing the possible side effects to watch out for? I don't say that to be snarky but it always made me feel better to read that these reactions are somewhat normal. My DD had a fever and spit up some after one of her rounds of shots, but both symptoms were listed as side effects and it didn't escalate. She was fine after a couple of days.

Could be a reaction or could just be a virus he picked up at the pedis office. Either way I would just keep an eye on it and make sure he is comfortable. Sorry dealing with fevers sucks!
