You can saline him- our pedi told us saline when dd had her first cold at 9 days old. I always do saline- I'm cruel, I guess.
We also did warm baths and lots of steam when she had rsv earlier this year.
We have a cool & warm most humidifier- I forget which one is best for colds. I think one pedi told us one thing and another told us something different.
Hope he feels better quickly! Sick babies are the worst!
Saline, nose Frieda, and humidifier. That's about all the ped will say for a cold too. Stingyshark our ped said the cool air one soothes. We run the regular one when he's not sick, but the cool when he's got a cough.
Sitting in a steamy bathroom (I do this with DD in a diaper and in a towel so her clothes doesn't get damp), saline, nosefrida to suck out snot, baby Vicks on feet (not sure when you can put it on the chest), try to elevate baby's head at night and a cool mist humidifier.
