DD1 keeps complaining that every toothpaste that I buy is "too minty" even when it's strawberry or fruit flavor. The only thing she doesn't complain about is the fluoride free infant stuff which isn't an option.
I'm willing to buy something else, but I don't want to just randomly start buying every toothpaste on the shelf if she's going to reject it and then waste it.

Strawberry Tom's will be my first try. Thank you. I tried her current Colgate strawberry and it's NOT MINTY! But if I can stop this fight with a different brand of toothpaste then that's what I'll do to not have this argument twice a day.
Fun side note: I once won a $250.00 American Express gift card from Tom's of Maine for filling out their survey. I got a personal phone call and everything. I bought a grill with it. Tom's for life...haha.
There's also the bmmade-up bubble fruit flavor that crest or some other commercial brand makes. And Colgate has a watermelon one. It's electric green, if you can get over the thought of how much extra crap is in that tube.
And if you're ever in France, try the kids' Signal brand that comes in a pink tube or a blue tube.
But you're SOL if you go to Argentina bc there was no non-minty toothpaste at any of the pharmacies I went to there.
I spend a lot of time buying toothpaste on vacation.

I have had two exchange students from Central/South America and they both complained incessentantly that American toothpaste is not minty enough. Ha.

Strawberry Tom's here too. When we switched to that from the fluoride-free Oral B infant stuff she complained about the taste at first, so I put a little swipe of that on top of the Tom's. Seemed to do the trick.
