P weighed in at 8 lb 11 oz today. He's within normal weight gain limits but still sooo small. He's almost 2 months old and swimming in 0-3 clothes still!
I am still worried about possible reflux though. It seems like all the other babies in the BF group just have skyrocketed in weight gain at some point except him.

My left breast is sore. I'm hoping that being sick has not somehow affected that. I do know my milk supply is really low today. I was getting ready to give Chase a bottle of frozen milk, but he decided he wanted to go to bed.
We did dinner all together tonight for pretty much the first time (at home).
I gave her a few bites of what we were eating. She did try them all but ate pretty much none of it (baked chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and steamed spinach, nothing crazy). She ended up eating yogurt and strawberries (I do think she's also teething).
Both SILs are in FL witb MIL/FIL and about 30 friends and family. Every picture they post on FB makes me giddy that I am not stuck at the beach all day today with them. I enjoy drinking too much and hanging out with the best of them. I am perfectly happy doing this in KC.
H just lectured me about not bedsharing with the baby. I'm fucking pissed. If you think it's that dangerous, YOU try to get him back down MOTN instead of snoring away.
We put the decal up in the nursery tonight! I am full term (well, early term) tomorrow, and I would like him to be born ASAP. I will be induced two weeks from tomorrow, but the idea of 10 more days of work feels like an eternity. Attachment Deleted
"Mom? Can I help you tidy the house? Because I know you have a lot of things to do and not enough time to get them all done."
OMG. Do you guys remember how I used to be on here all the time bitching about how 3 was the worst age ever and 3-year-olds are assholes and someone please come take my threenager away from me?
WELL 4 IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE. I LOVE 4. NEVER GET OLDER THAN 4, DD1.
You are giving me hope that there is a light at the end of the 3yo tunnel! DD is 2 weeks away from 3 and driving me insane!

I made fish tacos tonight and DS requested "Goofy's gooey fish tacos!" He even added lettuce to it! This is the same kid who asks for hot dogs, PB&J, and grilled cheese. He didn't like it of course, but I'm still proud, lol!

M absolutely LOVES being outside. We were outside from the time we got home until bedtime, with a very short break to eat, which he refused because he wanted to go outsiiiiiide.
Also, DH went out of town for work this morning and MIL left to go home this evening. M bawled his eyes out when Nana was saying bye bye at the airport. Then all the way home he kept asking about Daddy. We FaceTimed with DH before bed and as soon as he said "Okay buddy, I have to go" M lost it. Full on sobbing. I am now feeling terrible that I will be out of town all of next week. Poor kid.

I am very bitter about cleaning the house, especially since I'm cleansing the house and H is putting handles on cabinets. I'm not suppose to be mad even though I asked him to clean with me, and he chose to put handles on instead. Well finders keepers, I found a $50 target gift card when I was cleaning. I'm not sharing.

Lectured? Text me if you need someone to hold the baby while you bury the body.
We saw an ENT along with a team of other specialists last Wednesday. DS got a diagnosis of micrognathia. Basically it means that he has a recessed chin. We haven told anybody other than our parents yet. I feel like it's not that noticeable on him and as soon as people find out about it they will focus on it. I'm probably overreacting, but I'm still getting used to this and all that it entails for ds.

You guys, I'm having a moment. I'm snuggling with DS (just turned 5) on the couch before bedtime. I started thinking about how not long ago he was my tiny baby and now he's a little boy. A little boy who probably won't be snuggling with me much longer. *sob*
I also backed my van into a tree in the yard and then a trailer hitch at the grocery store this week, both without noticing. I swear that as soon as I'm anxious about driving I drive about 110% worse than normal.
DD2 is 12 days old & it is my first day + bedtime that I'm alone with both of my girls. So far, I got DD1 home from school, we went to the park, and have had dinner (with vegetables!). If I make it through bedtime, I'm going to be feeling very successful!

DD was 9 pounds 2 ounces at 2 months. I was 9 pounds 6 ounces at birth. It was weird but all is well now. FWIW we ended up within two pounds of each other at one year old (DD was 18 pounds and I was 20 pounds). So I really do feel like it all evens out.
I will learn from you and not buy clothing ahead! Ha.
Very productive off site meeting with two co-workers today. On the way back to the office, daycare calls and says DS's eyes are super goopy. So I call and get a same day appt with our pedi. Run home and change clothes, take DS to the dr where he is diagnosed with pinkeye and given stronger eyedrops. We had been giving him other eyedrops that clearly weren't working.
Since it's so nice out, I take him to the park afterward and a dad is there with his kids and dog. (Among many, many other people). They let DS run after their little golden doodle while they played fetch with him. DS was in heaven and the little boys (probably 7 and 9) were enjoying it too. DS was just running around like a crazy person yelling Woah and Doggy and Ball! So cute!!
This baby still doesn't have a name if it's a girl.
Tonight, H suggested Norma. He thinks Charlotte or Caroline are old lady names. But, hey, how about Norma? If that doesn't say "Hey, I'm 60!" I don't know what does.
I brought him to the pedi b/c he has a new cold and is wheezing. Pedi sent him straight to the ER b/c his pulsox was 85. So I shlepped 3 kids to the ER and his pulsox is 98. Little booger. He's seen 2 nurses so we're just waiting for the dr to see him and send us home.
Luckily DH was able to come and pick up the big kids after about an hour. He also brought me a giant bag combos, lol.

We're home. The attending said they see 10 kids a day who get false readings from pedis and get sent there. She said if his pulsox was really 85 he would be blue.
