What should I take in for DS2's birthday on Friday? I want to do something but they discourage cupcakes, etc. DS doesn't like yogurt, so that's out. The only thing I can really find packs of are crackers and stuff but i feel like they eat crackers for snack every damn day. It has to be store-bought. I might just buy some TJ's cereal bars since he is obsessed and call it a day.
DD would be thrilled with a cereal bar. She yells BAAARRRRRRR until you give her one. Usually at like 6 a.m.
Same for applesauce pouches, yogurt pouches, go-gurt, raisins, etc. Pretty much I would just get whatever is easiest and cheapest.

DH is en route to London until late Saturday. I had lots of things I planned on getting done tonight but I passed out after B went to bed. Maybe tomorrow night?

H is taking E for a drive right now. Kid just will not sleep for more than 15 minutes at a time. He has a clean diaper, won't take the bottle for more than a couple sips, doesn't want the pacifier, has been burped a million times and we changed him into a onesie because he seemed warm. Hopefully a car ride will calm him down enough to sleep for a couple hours!

When DS was little and liked the car my mom told me a trick that I apparently liked as a baby. Get a comfy chair for you and pull it up next to the dryer. Put baby in the infant seat on top of the dryer and turn it on as you sit in the comfy chair.
DD is sooo sleepy. We're pulling out ALL the stops to get her to nurse. Stripping naked, wet washcloth, blowing in her face, etc. She latched and sucks a few times and promptly falls asleep. Wake up baby girl! Here she is conked out on my boob.

So sweet! I bet she wakes up more at the 24 hr point. My scheduled c/s babies were both out for a full day and then they woke up more.
I much prefer Nora if he wants a similar sound! I love Charlotte and Caroline.
I still can't decide on a name, so H has chosen Jack. I am normally such a control freak, but I just don't want to decide. I am curious to see if I change my mind when we see him.
I love those girls names! I'm a bit sad Nora is such a popular name since it's my grandmothers name and we have wanted to use it for a long time. Caroline is my SILs name so we won't use it.
Nora is #83 on the SSA list, I don't think that's too popular at all! It's a beautiful name, especially with the family significance.
sjh722 my grandmothers were Alma and Victoria. Now THOSE are old lady names!
Or if you could just decide names with your friends. Stupid other parent, always getting in the way. I will name babies with @mrswindycity any day. I love all of those. How do you feel about Beatrix/Beatrice?
I love love love Daphne and Georgia, and I am still sad DH picked out a boy for our last dog, so I didn't get to name him Penelope.

I hope so! Her vitals are fine in spite of the lazy nursing. Weight has only dropped 3%, no jaundice, blood sugar is fine. So nobody's worried, she just needs to nurse more. I'm confident she'll get it.
