I'm sleeping on the floor with my sick toddler. She decided to wake up and talk to me about all of her stuffed animals. I want to go back to sleep. Even if it is on the floor.
H took E for a car ride to get him to sleep and it worked. Maybe a little too well because he's sleepy this wake up, lol. I want him to finish this bottle to make it more likely he sleeps longer but he doesn't want it. Oh well I guess.
We might get some blackout curtains (apartment so we just have blinds right now) so I can sleep in more in the mornings. I haven't been getting much sleep. I go to bed at like 11 or midnight, get up for an hour or so at 3-3:30ish, then I end up being up for the day at like 7 and can't seem to nap during the day. I mean, I know having a baby means you don't get a solid block of sleep, but it would be nice to get a little more. Partially my own fault though for not going to bed earlier.
Current challenge is that DS has been super congested but the snot is far up and we can't see it/suction it. We did a humidifier last night which seemed to do nothing. Got some saline drops for tonight which have helped us get some of the snot but he still sounds like crap and it makes sleeping hard for all of us. Luckily he otherwise seems fine. If it isn't one thing, it's another. *sigh*

DD puked in bed 3 times so we were up pretty much all night. I'm already downstairs working for the day so I can take most of the day off while H goes to work. Noooo!
G and is slept half the night upright in the recliner. if I put her down she would start fussing. This sleep shouldnt count. So tired and my arm is killing me from her laying on it for so long.
DD has been waking up at 4:30 every day for about a week. Now it's 4:30, she's still asleep, but I apparently got on her schedule because I'm wide awake! Boo.
ETA: sending good thoughts for all those with sick babies!
((hugs)) ladies- hope all your babies feel better soon!
estrellita- I went to bed with C every night til recently. Even now I try to go to bed as early as possible. I'm on week 12/13 and the sleep deprivation is no joke (although I do all MOTN with no help from DH). Also, C hardly naps so night sleep is my only hope. Sleep when you can.
What happened to C sleeping so well. DST really hurt us and I'm hoping when we transition out of swaddle and into crib that things get better. Bedtime is a nightmare too...fell asleep about 4-5 times but would wake up as soon as he hit the RNP. Took 2 hrs again. We're on wakeup 2- last stretch was less than 2 1/2 hrs.
luv2rn4fun that's kinda what I've been trying to do but sometimes it takes that long to get him to sleep and stay asleep in the crib. We usually start trying to put him to bed at like 8 or 9 depending on when he eats but he ends up staying up another hour or so at least!
