DD starts crying at 4 am. This has been happening for months. We bring her into bed to an extra hour of sleep but I feel like she will never sleep past 4 in her own crib. It's awful.
No, my 6 year old is still an early riser. The good news is that now I can sleep a bit longer because we are comfortable with allowing him to play games or read on the weekends until his little brother wakes up.
C has always been an early riser--5:45ish for several months around age 1, and now 6:30 most days.
The good news is that now he can chill in his bed for a long time. He wakes up and plays with his stuffed animals or looks at books for a good hour now on weekends.

We consider it "sleeping in" if the kids sleep past 6:15am. They go through phases where they might sleep until 6:45am, but past 7am is a once/year thing. So, in our experience, our early risers haven't changed.

I'm not sure how old your LO is, OP? But one nap helped us. He did start sleeping past 6 once he was firmly on one nap schedule. Then at 2.5 we bought a toddler alarm clock and set it for 7 am. He naturally wakes about 6:30 but knows he has to stay in bed until the light turns green. It's glorious
Not any better for us. My 8 yr old ds got up at 5:49 today. He likes to come wake us up. He has never really slept past 6 and went through a phase of waking up a 5 for about a year. In a nutshell, I have not slept past 7 in 8 years!

Hasn't gotten any better for us. Even with the "ok to wake" clock he still tries to come out extra early most days. He just puts up less of a fuss about going back to his bed.
My 7 yo was up every day by 630 until she turned 5.5, then she could sleep until 730. This also happened to be when she started K and had to be up by 630. Awesome.
My 3 yo is up by 6. My body isn't capable of sleeping in anymore. They have officially broken me.
It changes all the time. The latest time change did a number on him. He doesn't go to bed until after 9pm and gets up at like 6am. I was having none of that this morning... I got up with him, let him spend 10 minutes on the potty, and made him go back to sleep!
Mama's exhausted... I don't have patience for 6am wakeups!
